"Resist The Pressure!" - Stealth Water Methanol Injection - [SH2OMI] - Update 22.03.2018
Hi All,
Just a very brief update:
Even though after my last post I was confident that the clear 8mm ID PVC tubing would sufficiently cope with the 80psi pump pressure, I thought it prudent to add a little extra security. Well, that's if this 'security' is a reliable addition.
I've sourced some old yellow garden hose pipe (braided) that was lying around in my mum's yard and after a quick scrub up, it looks quite dapper ;) I've cut a length of it just shorter than the clear PVC and managed to slide it over the PVC tubing without interfering with the coupling at either end. The 'fit' isn't too loose or too tight; in fact, it is just like baby-bear's porridge in the Goldilocks tale,"it's just right!"
So it's back to waiting for warm weather and a 'slot' in my diary to start putting these components together in the car.
Bye for now folks,
EggMeister
