Historically the banking is entangled with the money, where around 9000 BC. The “Grain money” (one of the earliest economic systems) and “food cattle-money” were the official currency that have been used for the purposes of barter.
At the stone age the “Anatolian obsidian” tool (a naturally occurring volcanic glass) was a raw material for its importance because it could be fractured to produce sharp blades or arrows-heads so it was used for trading.
After some drilling operations in the Near East, there were found tokens and “Bulla” (made out of clay or other metals usually used as an identification tool) from about 8000 BC. As records of the counting of agricultural produce, in the late fourth millenium, the members of temples began to use some symbols tol register stock of products (earliest accounting entries).
According to the “code of Hammurabi” (1700 BCE.) which was written on a clay tablet where it refers to some banking regulations were applied at that time.
Later on at 646 BC. During the Achaemenid Empire other evidence was found showing banking practices in the Mesopotamia region.
5000 BC. In the settlement of Sumer was the beginning of the civilization of cities, where it was the time of the construction f institutions and establishments around a central temple.
