Since i am working 2 shifts every day so i will be able to save more money because of what i am getting paid now and because i have no time anymore to go out with my friends (neither alone), but always the good point is that i started saving money so it seems i will be on the right track to build my future now.

After few months working as Customer service CS and Main teller
it wasn’t that bad except for the teller part and holding cash, well actually only the CS part was the good one.

Learning new procedures related to the bank, making deals with clients inside and outside Lebanon, relations with different parties like the customs for example in order to ship products outside the country and so on, that was something where i felt i belong, i liked this department i started to work with passion and even about my new colleagues (since i changed the branch that i used to work in) were really nice people and stood beside me starting from the branch manager to the last clerk.

As for the other shift that i am working on (car loan department) it was all about data entry (easy but boring), i was fast in entering the data specially when we had a campaign for selling cars in coordination with some car company, so that encouraged the manager of consumer loan department to benefit from me and help her team in their files.

Like always, in order to know what i am heading to i must know what is this place? what does this department really do?

The purpose of this product (consumer loan) is

  • To finance the purchase of products related to consumption such as (Electronics, equipments, furniture, etc.).
  • This loan can be granted to individuals.
  • In order to benefit from this loan the borrower must be Lebanese and resident, except for certain cases.
  • He should have a clean financial record.
  • More then 18 years old and less then 64.
  • He will benefit from a free life insurance.

And some other points that regulates the relation between the bank and the borrower.
I found it really similar to the car loan department so it’s obvious it will also be easy and boring, but i have a goal to achieve so i have to stick with this job beside to the main one.
