Since now i am a Main Teller then i suppose to have some direct relation with other posts in the bank such as the Loan department where in case a client wants to pay his monthly debt i should contact the customer service clerk “CS” (i will talk about his job description in this post).

And because of my curiosity I started to put my nose in the CS Job in order to learn more and more (as i said before it’s always good to learn more).

Here are some of the CS tasks that i started to get some ideas about:
His main duty was the loan processing, where he has to prepare bills on maturity date to be settled.
Ensures the prior input of loan details (Loan period, start date, commission, interest, and so on).
He should receive the KYC form signed and approved by the customer relation agent (CR), the bank manager and the customer.
Handles the unpaid bills workflow in term of:

• Daily control and follow up of unpaid bills with borrowers.
• In case of delinquent customer the CS will transfer the file to the recovery department.

In addition of processing loans also he is in charge of executing Credit Letters (CL), Guarantee Letters (GL) and Certificates of deposits.
If the bank contains safe boxes the CS should ensure the proper application of the management directives issued in this concern.

That was a brief for the job of the CS which is unlike the front office clerk (Teller and Main Teller), he is considered as a back office clerk, as for me it is much better from being teller and handling cash.
