Trail Magic - Tree House Brewing Company - Beer Review
Trail Magic - Tree House Brewing Company
Beer Review
Trail Magic is a 5.2% German Pilsner brewed by the Tree House Brewing Company in Monson, Massachusetts. I have tried many different beers from Tree House and they are always top notch. Tree House is a small batch craft brewer specializing in fine New England style IPAs. They do produce stouts, porters and a variety of other styles of beers, but the juice bombs like their Julius, Green, and Haze are what made Tree House become the legend that it is today. Unfortunately you can't find Tree House beers at your local liquor store, you need to travel to the brewery itself and wait in a long line in order to score any of this liquid gold. But it sure is worth it! Trail Magic is a clean and crispy German Pilsner that shows Tree House can make good beer all over the spectrum.

The Can
Trail Magic is served in a full pint can. It features the typical Tree House Brewing Company logo on a forest green colored label. The title is written in a brownish gold edging around the can. It looked like a good beer to take hiking. The bottom of the can had the words 'Ground Score!' written above the canning date. When you see a can with a Tree House on it, you know there's going to be delicious beer inside.
The Beer
Most of the beers I get from Tree House Brewing Company are hazy, hoppy, New England-style IPAs. The Trail Magic on the other hand, is a German Pilsner. It's not exactly my style, but it was apparent that this particular pilsner was especially high quality. It looked clear and clean when poured into a glass. The beer was crisp with a light hop taste and a dry finish. Overall it was a solid pilsner. I look forward to trying more beers from Tree House Brewing Company in the future.
