Beer Review

Doppelgänger is a 8.2% Imperial Double IPA brewed by the Tree House Brewing Company in Monson, Massachusetts. I have tried a few different beers from Tree House and they are always top notch. Tree House is a small batch craft brewer specializing in fine New England style IPAs. They do produce stouts, porters and a variety of other styles of beers, but the juice bombs like their Julius, Green and Haze are what made Tree House become the legend that it is today. The Doppelgänger was just in line with the rest. Absolute fire! Juicy, hoppy deliciousness in a can. Unfortunately you can't find Tree House beers at your local liquor store, you need to travel to the brewery itself and wait in a long line in order to score any of this liquid gold. But it sure is worth it!

Doppelgänger

The Can

Like most Tree House brews, the can of the Doppelgänger features a lengthy description of the beer and the brewers intentions. This beer is the Big Brother to Alter Ego, an IPA brewed by Tree House. I have not tried Alter Ego yet, but the Doppelgänger is certainly a great big brother to have! The pungent floral flavor makes this beer a tropical delight.

The Beer

Just look at that thing! The glowing orange hop-juice begs to be drinken. This juicy and delicious beer was loaded with citrus and pineapple flavor. A fruity heaven with compliments of mango and peach. It is the true definition of a New England Juice Bomb. No matter what the occasion or the mood of the situation, when you crack open a Doppelgänger the celebration begins. This beer is as good as it gets!
