Ma - Tree House Brewing Company
Ma is an 6.8% alc/volume American Amber Red Ale brewed by the Tree House Brewing Company in Charlton, Massachusetts. Tree House is a top-notch small batch craft brewer specializing in fine New England style IPAs. They do produce stouts, porters and a variety of other styles of beers, but the juice bombs like their Haze, Green and Julius are what made Tree House become the legend that it is today. The Ma was a great Autumn beer release by Tree House that fell off the beaten path. Unfortunately you can't find Tree House beers at your local liquor store, you need to travel to the brewery itself and wait in a long line in order to score any of this liquid gold. But it sure is worth it!

Out of all the Tree House beers I've tried so far, Ma is definitely my least favorite... but that's not saying much because all of Tree House's beers are top notch quality. It's just not one of their classic New England Juice Bomb IPAs. It was delicious compared to most Red Amber Ales, but that is not my preferred brew style. This beer was created in remembrance of Nate Lanier's grandmother. Nate is a co-founder and head brewer of Tree House Brewing Company. This Red Amber Ale was made to honor her fiery Irish spirit, dedicated to love and family values. It was first released by Tree House on a St. Patrick's Day weekend.

Good idea, beer reviews. I'm not a big fan of reds either. Strong fruity IPA all the way! If you ever make it out west Sunriver Brewery makes Vicious Mosquito, 7%, light and a touch of tropical fruit. The best!
