What a tin!!

·

Hey that tongue doesn't look 8 bit enough. : P

·
·

You're right. There's a little white line that is out of place. LOL!

·

That can!!! Super awesome!

·

That can is epic, lol.

·

Looks like a great beer.

·

Yeah, the design on this can is really good.

·

I love the photography in your review. It’s also great to see that you’ve experienced how the beer has changed over the years. That’s rare to read about. Great review.

·
·

Yeah, I have maybe 3 dozen or more unpublished reviews scattered around in Evernote, Wordpress, and paper notes and most of them are 3-6 years old. It is fun to compare notes from older reviews with recent experiences. I'll try to do that more but sometimes its tough for find the info or even find the beer again.

·

As someone who has grown up with 8 and 16-bit video games, this can brings back so many nostalgic memories :) Cheers man, and good luck!

·
·

Thanks. I don't know how I'm going to top this one. Maybe I go the opposite direction and find a photo of the blandest looking can I can find.

Note: I didn't take that photo, just something from the internets.

·
·
·

Hey guys, I am late (again) to the party, but oh well. If you'd like to see some beer porn, go ahead and check out my entry:
https://steemit.com/photofeed/@irreverent-dan/the-lone-pine

Cheers and have a lovely rest of the weekend!

·

2 litter of goodness!!

·

Love 💕 this family picture!

·

That is the best way to celebrate a new year for the young ones.

·

Great family gathering with some nice beers!!

·

Hello @jarangur68 and welcome to Beer Saturday :) I gotta say that Zulia has one hell of a good-looking bottle :) Cheers and good luck!

·

Heavy really heavy?

·

Oeee a killer!!!! Watch out with that one hahahaha

·

An excellent beer! I look forward to reading your thoughts on it :)

·

Great beer, looks great, with a hefty alcohol content!

·
·

Actually if I didn’t know the alcohol
content, I would never guess this beer to be above 7-8% abv

·

Yeah, that is a classic alright.

·

Hey Miro, I admire you for being able to stop yourself from opening the second bottle :D Great review! Good luck with the contest, I hope you finally manage to win some SBD :)

·
·

I want to give the second bottle at least one more year! WOW!
Of course, we do this for fun, but who will refuse some more SBD? Hope to be lucky this time.

·
·
·

But does it really age?

·
·
·
·

I've tried a homemade Blueberry strong ale (8,5% abv, made last year) when it was bottled in a few weeks, and after giving it about a year in the bottles, the taste was absolutely different. The malt sweetness reveals in a whole new level and the taste of the beer becomes smoother. For a high abv beer (6+%) it's best to give it at least six months and the beer will reward your patience.
That's why I decided to give this 11,3% beer at least 1 year and see where will it end...

·
·
·
·
·

Got my post in early this week. I reviewed a beer at the first ever Melbourne Steemit Meet-up!

https://steemit.com/beersaturday/@mazzle/mazzle-reviews-beer-at-a-steemit-meet-up-holgate-s-norton-lager

·

Congrats on the early entry. I hardly made it by the cutoff tonight.

·

Love the steemit meet up, had one a couple of months ago here in South Africa!

·
·

It was so much fun :)

·

Steemians and beer, great combination!!

·

The beach in the background looks great!

·
·

Yes, it's a beach called Boca de Uchire, thanks for the comment.

·

Good descriptions of the beers and nice photos!!!!

·
·

Thanks for the comment. Those beers are very good.

·

Chilltime!!!

·
·

Nothing like a cold beer to relax.

·

Que gran post, te felicito.

·
·

Gracias por el comentario.

·

I like all the friend/family sitting around the table, nice!!

·

Que foto tan genial... Es una de las mejores cervezas del país.

·

geheheheh the face :D

·
·

haha, was genuine excitement

·

Heavy punching beer!!

·

Hilarious photos, man! 😁 I love being punched in the face by such beers.

·
·

thanks bud - i try and have some fun with it but the beer challenge is delightful

Here's my entry for the week! I'm looking forward to reading the other entries and hopefully sample the ones available to me :)

https://steemit.com/beersaturday/@tj5553/tj5553-s-travels-australian-beer-tasting-1

·

Like the color of the beer

·
·

Thank you! It was really pretty, and unexpected for an amber.

Cheers to all lets get more than or equal to 33 again this time!!!
Here is my entry
https://steemit.com/beersaturday/@isteemithard/cheers-to-dinner-beers-steemit-beersaturday-challenge-week-33

·

Will be more than 33 this time round!

·

That founders looks great.

·

Excellent review mate. The porter looks lovely.

I don’t drink anywhere they serve drinks in jars. :P

I had my memories of a music festival in Belgium called Rock Werchter because of this beer. Lets get 33 attendees this week!

https://steemit.com/beersaturday/@karinxxl/beersaturdays-ooo-sweet-piggy-reminding-me-of-rock-werchter

20180123_175930.jpg

·

Hi Karin, actually I know this festival but never got there. Tasty 🍺 you show to us.

·
·

If you ever have the chance, please do. Line up is always solid, and those Belgians really know how to throw a party! And they have a shitload of variety of beers around the whole festival hehe. Jupiler as main sponsor (which I like a LOT), but also around the festivalarea they sell a lot of local stuff!

·

Nice Post!

·
·

Gracias senor!

·

Nice white head, looks great!!

·
·

Finally! I let my beers from the previous week die a bit too fast hahaha

·

Love stone, and those glasses. Best on the market!

·
·

Yeah, I know it sound ridicolous but those spielglau glasses make a huge difference - maybe I should do a head to head test of a beer in these versus regular glasses.

·
·
·

Yeah, I have the IPA and Tulip glasses... Still have to get my hands on some stout ones though!

·
·
·
·

Now you guys have me intrigued. Where can I find these?

·
·
·
·
·

Hard too answer, without knowing which country you are in, but here is what we are talking about: http://www.spiegelau.com/craft-beer/craft-beer-glasses/ipa/
You tend to find them in department store/kitchen shops/anywhere you would find good glasses.

·
·
·
·
·
·

I'll have to keep a lookout. I live in the US, so it looks like I should be able to find and pick up some. Gives me a great gift idea for my mother-in-law who loves IPA's.

·

Stone has been a leader in helping all the smaller breweries do their thing by sticking it to the Man and starting their own distribution company. Not only that, but they are punk as fuck. I'm honestly not a big fan of their beers, but I have to give them respect. I know the guy who designed their place in SD.

·

That looks intense! I'll have to look for it next time I hit up my beer store.

·

Weird looking beer!!

·

I am yet to try a gentle habanero infused beer, and this one is hands down one of the best looking beers I've seen! Good luck, Harvey!

·

Interesting bright can!!

·

This one sounds delicious! Next time I am in Copenhagen, I will make sure to visit BRUS :)

This week's #BeerSaturday entry is a profile on the "Psychedelic Comic" style of Chicago's Pipeworks Brewing label design. Cheers !🍺

https://steemit.com/beersaturday/@ftk/profile-pipeworks-brewing-s-psychedelic-comic-label-design

·

Amazing designs on the cans!!

·

The artwork is pretty fantastic. Have you seen/tried any Clown Shoes by chance? Their labels are equally interesting and ridiculous.

·
·

I haven't but going to check them out, that name is hilarious. thanks!

·
·
·

You definitely should if you have it available to you! They make some excellent brews, and the labels/stories for each one are very entertaining (and off the wall, much like the pictures above).

·

I am totally digging the design of these, especially the Galaxy ghost DIPA! Cheers and good luck!

·
·

awesome glad you dig & thank you!

·

Like the label, the beer looks great.

·
·

P49 has some really good labels, all done in this style.

·

The more I read beer posts here, the more I realize how tiny the seclection of brews is at my local beer shop :) This one certainly looks and sounds great! Good luck @webstar :)

·
·

Yeah, I don't know what the craft beer scene is like in Bulgaria. We have a pretty good one here and can get a decent amount from other countries, but you're right, looking at these posts makes you realize how few you can get your hands on!

·
·
·

I think craft beer is getting more and more popular here, there are also quite a few local breweries producing decent to very good beers. Cheers, man!

·

Lucky you. I haven't been able to visit that brewery yet. I have to drive there and back after drinking. :'l

·

Looks like a great beer, food combination.

·

Looks good, like the tin!

·

Trillium makes some great brews. I'd love to see your thoughts on the beer though.

·
·

They really do. And this was no exception. DDH Galaxy is about as good as it gets!

·
·
·

Yeah, we were up in Boston this past year, so we got to try a couple of their brews. I cannot remember exactly which ones we tried, but they were definitely big on their hops :)

This week I had a great beer from Muskoka called "Mad Tom".
One of my favourite beers so far:
2018 01 17 17 56 41
https://steemit.com/beersaturday/@dadview/have-another-drink-with-dadview-mad-tom

·

A beer with some kick!!

·
·

It is! 😁
I forgot to write about its tag line, "ito ang tama".
In plain English, it means "This(ito) is(ang) right(tama)", so in terms of the beer, it means "This is the right beer".

The other meaning of tama in tagalog is "hit", so for this beer, it could also mean "a beer with a kick (hit)"😅.

·

That looks great! I'm a big fan of milk stouts.

·

I've been brewing for about 8 years now. Going to write a post soon for @mazzle on how to get the most out of a cheap system. I'm likely to post it here as part of a beer review so keep your eyes peeled if you want to learn more about brewing. I'm also happy to try and answer questions if you've got them.

Had to sink this one on the bus on the way to a Rugby Sevens match too
