BeerSaturday Challenge #33. I love Venezuelan beers!

This week we will see some of the best known beers in the Venezuelan market, I will tell you about my favorites:

-Polar Pilsen:
The Polar Pilsen was introduced in 1941 becoming one of the most popular beers enduring in the market with more than 75 years of history, it contains 5 ° of alcohol, the bottle is a dark color, its main ingredients are malted barley, cereals and Lupulo. Its flavor is a bit strong and bitter, since 2000, the demand for different Light flavors has increased and it is from that moment that Pilsen has lowered its popularity among young people in Venezuela, however, even in 2018 it is very consumed.

Its common name is POLARCITA

-Polar ICE:
Was introduced in 2001, it is a beer with a milder flavor and 4.5 degrees of alcohol, the bottle is transparent and you can see the light yellow color of the beer. With this type of beer it was sought to satisfy the taste of the young population that in some cases rejected the Pilsen for its strong flavor.

-Soleras Verde / Azul . Soleras green/Blue:
These beers are Premium range, the most popular presentations are Solera Verde(Green) and Solera Azul (Blue). “La Azul” was unveiled in 2004, has 4 grades of alcohol and low carbohydrate content, “La Verde” was released in 1995, is characterized by having a strong flavor and 6 degrees of alcohol, this is one of the Stronger beers and it's my favorite.

-Zulia Beer:
It is a beer with 4.5 degrees of alcohol, the bottle is green with a yellow rectangle in the center. its flavor is very soft and refreshing which makes it a good choice when you want to be relaxed with friends. It goes on sale in 2012 although its parent company, Cervecería Regional, has been operating in the country since 1929 and produced high quality beers, so much so that they won the Gold Medal at the International Exhibition in Paris in 1937.
