My personal thoughts on how to help those in need with @familyprotection

The question that @markwhittam brought up a few days ago

Most of you probably have read @markwhittams post where he challenges the community to come up with ideas how to help the family's in need worldwide dealing with Child Protective Services. If you missed it, you can find his post here

Out of the box thinking!

I can say that I personally love to think big, and out of the box. I hate to be set back by people because of norms, rules and what is supposed to be normal for most people.
I know my power, I know my strength, I know my skills and if I believe in something and I am passionate about it, I can make it work. And I really believe this works for everybody.
But I must say, it does help when you book a success story first, before you truly feel and believe this is true.
Don't get me wrong, I get caught up in my emotions too, after all I am only another human being, and I have to relief the emotions too sometimes.
But I can honestly say by now (after years) that I am able to switch back in positive vibes soon and often (after some relief) I suddenly come up with the solutions.
And I admit, those are mostly not the normal ways to get things done, but they are often way out of the box ! But I think this is good, it gives good fresh ideas, and and often I see the problem from a different angle.

We had a bit of a brainstorm session here (my boyfriend and me that is)

Although my boyfriend is not an active member on Steemit, he is my rock, my comfort, the one that will lift me up when I fall.. It is crystal clear to me, that if he hadn't been by my side during the horrific period with CPS and everything around it, I would not have been typing this post. I would never have found the strength to get up, and find that out-of-the-box solution that was made for us. (Leave the country!) If I had been alone in this, I would be too chicken to do something like that, but now I know, its just another adventure! See, this has been good for something, the horror got me out of my comfort zone at least.. That's good, right?

We already discussed some plans that I will start somewhere this year, to help the homeless here in Budapest. Because we have been homeless too in Holland, and we know how it makes you feel when people suddenly don't seem to take you for human anymore. All of the sudden, some people that were your friends, don't "see" you as one of theirs anymore. Like you have been alienated by the whole world, at least that's how I can describe this best, I guess. Not all of them, but some of them make more impact, I guess...

So from one thing, came another, and all of the sudden there it was

Every thing that is on my bucket list for this year, or some older ideas that we could not do anything with before (like helping the homeless) were all clear in my head.
But as you know those horrible CPS ripping family apart hurts me just a bit more, because that is connected with the worst thing that was done to me in my life, take my children and place them with their father.

So of course I was brainstorming about this too lately, and I came across some groups, and read some things about how stuff works here in Budapest. It all became clear to me soon, that I think the best way to approach the families with a helping hand is to assign ambassadors in the country's of the members here in the community.
Because not one city in the world is the same, and every city/village/country will need another approach to work out as we wanted it, right?
I can speak for myself when I say that I believe the systems set up by governments don't work, we knocked on every door people advised us, often more than once, and even though the rest of Holland is convinced you will not be left alone in this, we did. That system fails, period!
It works for those who will receive the loads of money that is made by harming the family's yes, but for those who actually need it, it fails.

I know it, you know it, the community members @familyprotection know it. It's time that the rest of the world finds out too!

So now what?

Of course I cannot speak for @familyprotection if they see potential in this, and how this would be put in to action eventually. But I can say that I am willing to talk about the option if they are up to this idea of the familyprotection ambassadors in all country's presented here in the community.
I would love to find ways to get in to contact here with those that are threatened by CPS that they will take their children, so that maybe they will get help in time.
But this goes so much further for me, I will not aim only for those dealing with CPS problems, but also for those who just don't seem to be able to get around and will be potential victims of eviction (here in Hungary it looks like you are on your own in those cases, that's why there are so many homeless people).

Some examples of help I want to offer to those that need it

Let's say I am not that person that believes you should give the old drunk homeless man lying on the street money for alcohol. Although I can understand that when you live somewhere with cold winters, you try to keep yourself warm, I don't believe in feeding the addiction, sorry.
Leftovers, food that you don't eat anymore, a hot cup of coffee, yes! Supplies like warm cloths, blankets yes!

For me this is a much bigger project, some examples I want to accomplish in the next year

  • Offering help to the homeless with supplies (I have an idea worked out)
  • Be the person to advice those who will be in trouble with CPS (they have to be able to find me so there will be promoting of course and a website)
  • By networking I hope to find a group of trustworthy (and especially the ones that really do care for the cause) professionals that can be of help to help those family's in court, like lawyers or any other profession that can be helpful (think out of the box)
  • I eventually see myself in an office where I can meet the families in need, but also have a space where I can teach those who have special talents like writing/music (you name it) to present this here on Steemit. Introduce them in the community, and show them that they don't have to be depending on their government to help them. Steemit is full of people to get inspired by.
This last point I mentioned is based on the idea that I believe that you should get the best out of a person, and if someone doesn't see this anymore themselves I hope to be the person that shows those people that nothing is impossible.

You just need a good push in the right direction. Let me be the one to reach out to you, just take my hand and let's talk about how you can see the potential in you again, because it is there! I know how it feels to lose everything, but I can also share my story with you, and show you where we are now.

This is just a little bit of my vision on how to help

Feedback is certainly appreciated, and I hope to be part of the members that will help @familyprotection to a higher level. I think we can make this happen, together for sure!

Thank you @familyprotection hope you can do something with these thoughts ;)

'I believe that you should get the best out of a person, and if someone doesn't see this anymore themselves I hope to be the person that shows those people that nothing is impossible.'
This is SO important!!
I'm so sorry you had to go to so much hard times..
I love to read about how passionate you are to help people!

Thanks @bettyboob too bad you had to deal with all kinds of hard things too. But let's try to stay positive and turn all the painful things into something good... :)

Good initiative madame!!!

But uhh..Dont forget to also take care of yourselves as well to start with okay! Get some savings, enjoy stability. You have to be good, to do others good :))

Thanks, yes I am .. Because the employer of my bf is not too trustworthy with the payments and we have to pay back a decent sum for the rent and 2 months deposit for this house, today I put some sbd in my ltc wallet so we wont be in trouble (as in wont be able to pay the rent) if they mess up. I dont ever want to be relying on them again. It is just for if its neccessary.. I am getting stressed out every time they mess up and it takes weeks to set it right. its 3 months rent we have to pay back in 4 payments. So its just to be sure that we wont be in trouble .. and behind the scenes I am figuring out how to give form to the plans later this year :-) I am pretty excited :-)

Exactly...get those things covered first. I will give peace and stability and for the long run more energy to get your eventual goals done

Yes, I know, thats why I decided that.. my boyfriend told me all the time, don't payout. but I just don't want to depend on that company doing it wright. They proved month after month that they are a bunch of stupid people when it comes to payments. They are not going to stress me out again about this part :) And I need to save money first to start that project and that's a decent sum, so if I won't need this money that I moved to Litecoin it will eventually go there ;) Either way, win win.. And in the meanwhile I just keep posting, and putting the pieces together of my plans :D

You're done! It is a pity that most often want to help those people who themselves were in trouble or a difficult situation, because they know how important help and support.

Yes, its true. When we had no income because of that stupid government just rejecting us the first 6 months, all those other poor people who had nothing shared food. Unbelievable.. but those are often the people that will help you the most.. like you said, because they know how it feels... at least you learn in these situations to be creative with little money.. that never goes away after that period ;)

I am a clinical psychologist and I can help them provide care to those affected by clear skype or a website

@marynes5 I will definately keep that in mind for when I am at the point of helping people in my area.. at the moment I am still looking.for places where to find them and talking to people that may know this.. But maybe you can also mention this in @markwhittams post? Or maybe you already did?

I have not placed it in its publication, today I made one in my blog stating that I am willing to do so.
