One of the most profound things I have ever heard
What can I say? I am an avid learner.
I have always had a love for learning. I will gladly, with a joy-filled heart keep learning and growing for the rest of my life. I just love hearing what other people have to say and I absolutely love challenging my own thoughts.
I want to share with you something that I found to be absolutely profound. I mean, it shook my world! I have never looked at anything the same way since.

My hope in sharing this is not to offend you but to challenge your thinking, your perspectives, and your beliefs. I want to engage your intellect. I want to awaken you to an awareness of how you are choosing to live your life. I want to bring your choice of not only action, but thought into perspective.
I was working my way through Eckhart Tolle’s works when I came across this gem. In one of his talks he shared this verse: Psalm 46:10 “Be still and know I am God.” He draws the audiences attention to “I am” and poses the question: What if this verse is talking about you? What if “I” refers to “You”?
This has to be one of the most profound things I have ever heard.
What if God, instead of being some external Omnipotent presence, is actually the life energy that flows within each and every one of us? And if that energy flows through all that is,* doesn’t that make us all One*? Doesn’t that mean there is indeed only one true God?
Is God actually within us? Have we lost touch of this? Have we lost that knowledge?
What if we are the God of our own lives by what we choose to think and do? What if our thoughts manifest our reality? If we are manifesting our own reality, aren’t we then in essence Creator of our reality? Isn’t our reality how we see the world? Does this make us the Creator of our world?

I want to challenge you to think about what the implications of this would be? How would you choose to live differently? How would you choose to think differently? How would you choose to treat others differently? What changes would you make? How empowered would you feel?
And, if you feel threatened by this, look at it like a thought experiment. You can look at things, read things, listen to people without attaching, without internalizing anything as your own.
Remember, you have a choice as to what you attach to. You are the one who decides what you will believe and what you won’t. No one can ever threaten that. No one can ever take that away.
It’s all up to you!

Hi, @akiroq,
since decades I'm talking about that I'm a god, but mostly the people laugh or think they have to get offended. But with all I had overcome in life, I'm 100% sure if you don't care and do it yourself nobody will. This is also why I see religion as so dangerous, teaching growing up gods that there is something bigger as them. Making them smaller as they are instead of empowering children that all you can imagine is possible. Ever people told me in my life, you can't do this or that, till I did. And most of them got in rage when I told them that praying will change nothing on their situation if they want a change they have to make it on their own.
Thank you for your post, have a great time.
@vthor
It is nice to see someone who gets it. We are, if we think about it a God in our lives. Yes, on some level we have to accept responsibility for ourselves. I am a huge advocate for personal empowerment. I believe it is extremely important! Yes, we have a responsibility to do what we can. We can't hide behind prayers and do nothing. Yet, so many do.
