#1 Málaga, Spain

For our first featured post @r00sj3 takes us to Malaga, Spain. The first thing we get to discover is the Centre of Pompidou. It's most recognizable by it's strange colored glass construction on it's rooftop. Inside you'll find a museum, with it's permanent collection being called "Modern Utopias", which holds quite a few interesting pieces, even if it isn't that extensive. The rest of the dock area is interesting in itself as well, it's colorful, creative and has an art gallery and bar underneath the promenade. And that is far from all Malaga has to offer. From the Gibralfaro Castle, overlooking the city and the sea, to the Cathedral (the second highest in the region) and the Guadalmedina River, with amazing graffiti around its quays.

#2 From Buenos Aires to Lima

In our second featured post @joythewanderer takes us along another part of her trip from Bueones Aires, to Lima. This time we find ourselves in Bolivia. The highlight of this part of the trip for @joythewanderer was the Sajama National Park, at an elevation of over 4200 meters, it has a unique climate with the wildlife to match. You'll be sure to see a lot of alpacas and llamas here. From here we go to El Alto, La Paz. The centre of the city has become somewhat of a backpackers hub. It has a great atmosphere and one of the public transport options is a cable car, how cool is that?

#3 The World's Oldest Shopping Mall And The Bull's Genitals

For the last featured post of today @joyrobinson takes us to Milan, Italy. This city holds the oldest shopping mall, an incredible four-story building, built between 1865 and 1877, making it a major landmark in Milan. It holds a lot of luxurious designer shops, restaurants and cafes, Milan being the capital of fashion. Over the years a rather strange tradition has developed in the mall, where you have to spin your right heel three times backwards on the genitals of a mosaic bull with your eyes closed, if you want some good luck. Italians are a strange bunch at times! The tradition stems from an architect falling to his dead on that spot, and people marking the spot to prevent it from happening again!
