SOS BRIGADE
KOREAN BASEBALL IS HYPE!!!
Major League Baseball got NOTHING on Korean Baseball.
ALSO KNOWN AS YAGU IN KOREAN (야구), BASEBALL IS THE MOST POPULAR SPORT IN THE COUNTRY!
Much like how big the NFL is in the United States, baseball in South Korea is second to none. When the season starts, EVERYONE goes to a game.
Average ticket prices range from $10-20 USD and you get GOOD seats!
HISTORY OF BASEBALL IN SOUTH KOREA (ACCORDING TO WIKIPEDIA)!
American missionaries brought baseball to Korea in the 19th century. In 1896, US Marines played exhibitions against teams of Americans expatriates and the Seoul Athletic Club. The sport flourished in the period of Japanese rule.[3]
On December 1921, a team of American Major League players stopped in Seoul during a tour of Asia, and a Korean team was assembled to play against them. The Koreans were defeated, 23-3. Various Korean cities also participated in the Japanese Intercity Baseball Tournament, from its inception in 1927 until 1942. In 1940 and 1942 Seoul won the tournament, defeating (respectively) the teams of Dalian and Osaka. At least one Korean played against a Babe Ruth-led team of American all-stars which toured Japan in 1934.
Because i'm from Texas, Koreans are excited to hear that I am close to Shin-Soo Choo!!

Haha looks fun man!
If I ever hit up Tokyo in the summer, we gotta go to a game. ONLY if any team in that area are playing the Hanshin Tigers (my favorite team). F*ck the Giants!
Dang man! Sounds like something I should try if I go to South Korea. Not much of a baseball fan but it looks fun haha
Korean baseball games are HYPE!! Way more than the USA, that's for DAMN sure.
