2 Sentence Horror Stories: Addictive Nightmare (Original Story)
He made it out of the burning house with his 5 year old son through the bedroom window rolling the flames off of him and his scorching body, all the while, still hearing the screams of his dying wife as the roof caved in atop her cindering bones.
The next year, he woke up in his new home from that same nightmare again this afternoon sweating profusely, remembering the agonizing pain of that day and why he would never smoke cigarettes in bed, or at all if he could help it; he got up and walked shakily into his son's room to check on him and saw the little boy drawing the same picture over and over again; excruciating images of his incinerating mother.

Ahh shoot.. that has got to be so traumatic. One has to wonder if the father admitted it to his son. The son would surely resent the father for it. More heart rending that horror though, bro. I couldn't imagine being in any of their shoes, that has got to be the most painful aspect of it.
Horror is speculative my brother, lol I am pretty sure I'd be horrified if I witnessed this or experienced this first hand. And you never know, maybe the spirit of the mother is channeling her revenge soon on her still living husband. haha, but yeah this was a deeper one. Thanks for checking this one out.
