NICK began training in karate and aikido at a young age and participated in wrestling tournaments during his teenage years. He attended high school for a year, before dropping out.
GRACIE JUI-JITSU SAVED HIS LIFE
When he watched Royce Gracie win the first ever UFC championship, and another few after. He'd immediately see the benefit and the efficiency of Brazilian Jui-Jitsu. A smaller man could dominate and control a bigger man, and do anything with him at this point.
He began training Jui-Jitsu when he was around 16, and he also recruited his younger brother, NATE, to keep him off the streets and stay in shape. They trained in Cesar Gracies Gym, and he became a father figure to them. Soon after bought of them started competing in MMA. Nick had the first taste of money, and also a talent to win fights. He decided to dedicate his life to Martial Arts! Isn't that inspiring?"HA HA"

He is currently out of competition due to USADA ban. That was cleared this year, but where is Nick? Dana White, the UFC President told the media that Diaz is turning down fights left and right...
After NATE, the younger brother took a win away from CONOR MCGREGOR they become a worldwide brand. Don't get me wrong, they were big before. But this took it to a new level of being famous!

He was always told he's not good enough, he was always told his not gonna make it. And you're not one of this rich kids, and when he fights I think he brings a lot of that back. And unfortunately for his opponents, that's where that energy goes. Nick Diaz doesn't do MMA to be popular, he doesn't do MMA to get a pad on the back and fight to get people's approval. He does it to survive! Cuz he knows this his one shot! And he came a long way with that mentality.PROPS!
