Where am I in the STEEMit World: Nov 1st
November is here and it is time to see where I am at in the STEEMit World.

I get my data information for this post from SteemWhales.com and SteemDB.com. Also, I will be including information from Steem Supply, which is a great tool for seeing how you are doing in the short-term.
Last month, STEEMit has some major issues. I even joked about why there was a DDoS attack and what was going on. Why Steem Went Down - The Truth. Because of those issues, as with many other people, I wasn't as active as I wanted to be on STEEMit. Also, October was the first full month of 100% Steem POWER on my posts, mentioned in the Dr. SteemPower article. Well, almost full month, because right near the end there was a conversation on 100% Steem POWER and bots, so I did a test to see if bots preferred 50/50 articles. Do Bots Hate Full Steem?. I am almost done testing that out.
On to the stats. Let's see where I am with Vests.
Last month, I increased my Vests by 277k, this month I increased by 100k, so it looks like October's issues took a big hit on my Vest earnings. Here is another way of looking at my Vests from Steem Supply.
I can't say that 0.0013% of the Rewards Pool is all that impressive. What is less impressive is my active days last month.
Good grief!! It's amazing that I earned any Vests at all last month. The graph looks like a picket fence. I started an article in September that is sitting in a note file. I didn't even bother trying to finish it for October due to the issues with the site. It was painful enough to just get my regular posts out. I hope November will be better, because I assume going into the month, the site won't have as many issues. Whether I will be able to push out as many articles, I don't know. At a minimum, I won't be frustrated with the daily articles, if I don't have to repost them three times for STEEMit to recognize that they are there.

Steemians Tracked: 221807
SteemWhales is tracking 20,798 more Steemians at the end of this month. That is less than the increase from the previous month, which was expected due to the site issues.
Note: this number isn't an accurate account. There are roughly 25,000-35,000 Active Daily users on STEEM based on tracking by @penguinpablo . And of course, there are a lot of bot accounts and other things going on.
Reputation
Previous ranking was at 3,775 I am now at 3,801. Well, somehow 26 people passed my 57.3 reputation last month during all the craziness. I guess big votes must have been focused in on a few people.
STEEM Power
Previous ranking was 5,735 and now I am at 5,630. So, while more people were getting upvoted, I was stashing away more Steem POWER. Can't say that going 100% Steem POWER helped with that or not.
Posting Rewards
Previous ranking was 3,917, new ranking is 3,917. Well, okay. I didn't move up in the rankings on that one. Stagnation and everything due to the issues with the site. Hopefully, that will change in November. Still, that's just shows you that very few people make a ton of money from posting.
Curation Rewards
Previous ranking was 4,349 and the new ranking is 4,273. A modest gain of 76 spots for something I don't fully understand how to maximize. I try my best to curate when I can and give upvotes at close to 100%. But, giving $0.05-0.07 just seems like chump change. And, when I do hit an article that might get popular, it seems like someone else with much more Vests comes in an takes the majority of the curation percentage. Oh well, I guess I am doing better than most.
Post Count
Previous ranking was 512 and the new ranking is 501. It looks like I regained most of my spots for October, even with the site issues. With over 200,000 users, this ranking puts me in the 0.23%. Yes, I'm a 1 Percenter in my posts. Heck! My lowest ranking, Steem POWER, I'm in the 2.54% range. That should tell people something about how easy it is to get rich quick on SteemIT.
However, on September 24, I reached 500 Steem POWER. That's about a 13.4% increase by October 31st. I am going to start keeping track of how much Steem POWER I add each month, since I don't plan on powering any amount down any time soon.
October showed downward spiral of STEEM. The more I earn, the less the value, because it dropped below $1 during the site problems and has struggled to get back above that point since the site was fixed a few days ago.
Finally, I still gained about 80 followers in the month of October, despite the issues with the site. Of course, I find that a hollow victory, because the Dead Followers app tells a different story. I highlighted that in my What if ALL of my Followers Upvoted My Article? article.
42 upsteemers during the last 7 days, total followers: 0. There is a big difference between a Follower and one that upvotes articles. As @dragosroua keeps tweeking and adding to Steem Supply, I think we will see more and more useful information. This 7 day floating list is helpful to get a glance at your best followers, but it might not tell the entire story.
The final thing accomplished, I managed to earn a Personal Award on Steemit - Board of Honor. There was an award giving to posting an article on Halloween with certain tags and words in it. I created Happy Samhain! Happy End of Summer! Happy Halloween! and Double 'Extinction Level Event' Near Earth Objects for Halloween, but only one got the 10 votes needed. But, that was enough to earn the bade.
I look forward to trying to earn other badges and I definitely look forward to putting October STEEMit issues in the past.

I don't know, but that's what it looked like to me on the chart. Someone causing a false bid to jump the price and then taking profits as it slowly dropped back down to normal.
With SBD briefly hitting $1.16 today I bet you wish you stayed at 50/50 .... I think I do much much better having more SBD than Steem these days.
It's not how it should be, so in 7 days when we get the payout, SBD goes back below $1.00 and I'm still in the same spot.

Back down below $1 today, but STEEM is below $0.90.
If I was making huge amounts of rewards, I think it would matter more to me.
I was really glad to see my name in the top 20 supporters and in the top 20 most loyal as well even do i am not as active as i want because of my work.
As for you as i mention in the past ... you are doing great and the last month was somehow an atypical one do all the problems and issues that the platform had.
Your rankings are good too. You have as well a good Reputation Level and its very hard from now to jump a lot of positions in the ranks!
Just keep on doing what you are doing and i hope that at least in December while i will be home in vacation i will do as well a similar post!😉
I want to ask you one question as i heard a lot of people about powering down. If you do that what do you receive: steem or steem dollars? I am just curious!

Steem POWER goes to Steem. But, you have to convert to SBD in order to trade on exchanges, from what I have seen. I think this whole Steem, SBD and SMT is just going to cause a lot of confusion and uncertainty with people. And now STEEMit has a crappy new logo and look to make things even more messed up.
