Where am I in the STEEMit world
If you haven't found it yet, there is an app called SteemWhales.com.
The app allows you to check the rankings of everyone on STEEM. I can assume that the purpose of the app was to find Whales so you could figure out what type of posts they like and hope that they take a nibble and give you an upvote.
But, for us Bone Fish/Red Fish/Minnows, you can take a look where you rank in a number of categories.

I have seen elsewhere that there are only about 25,000+- active users.
Reputation
Starting off with reputation. At 6,496, I think that's a pretty good spot for me. I haven't even reached my 1 month anniversary from signing up.
STEEM
I haven't had a lot of upvotes, but I did get a couple of good ones. So, being under the 10,000 mark is reassuring.
STEEM Power
Apparently there is a big difference between STEEM earned and STEEM Power. Still working on building this up and maybe I will break into the 10k group soon.
Estimated Value
It looks I'm not as valuable as my STEEM and STEEM Power might make me think I am.
Posting Rewards
While my Estimated Value isn't the best, it does look like I am doing okay in the Posting Rewards ranking.
Curation Rewards
Even though Curation Rewards is minimal, I seem to be ranked much higher than I expected.
Post Count
Yup...this one shocked me as well. That's a pretty high ranking compared to my other rankings. I guess being chatty only gets you so far.
If you click on your name, you can also see charts and other information that may make you smile or cry.

Yes. Interesting information. Not sure how much it really means. But, I guess it could be used as a gauge of how your are doing.
Cool stats have to admit. Once i will grow a little bit more i will take a look as well and who knows if the numbers look good maybe i will do a blog as well. Always fun to know your place in the ranks. Keep up the good work and always Steem on!
I might do this weekly. Maybe not broken down into separate images next time, but just a general update.
If you view the charts portion, that is a little more telling, because it has a table of your STEEM value and its ups and downs.
I think still soon for me to add a blog about it as i am still new but i will take a look for me 100% as i am curios how i am in the ranks. Maybe after my Reptutation Level will go over 50 i will add a blog as well... as i think it will keep me more motivated!

I could write up a post difference between you and me. You post every few days and earn at least $1 per post. I post 4 per day, each day of the week and only earn $1. LOL Of course, it would only compare equally if we posted on the same thing. Travel seems to be a popular topic for upvotes.

There is no need for a blog about the difference between us. I am working on a cruise ship so my time is really limitated. I want to expand my writing in more niches but for the moment writing about my travels is the best way! Thanks a lot again for the kind words and of course...

Thanks for posting this, it's kinda cool to see individual stats regarding steemit. And Steemd.com seem to always be "down for maintenance" :/
Steemd.com is almost information overload. I like Steem.Supply and SteemStats for quick information about what is important.
I think you are doing great, especially having in mind that you are here less than a month.
As well, IMO it's good to be realistic. Going through the data, you showed in your post everyone can see where it's standing, in which area is good and what to improve.

The data is a double edged sword. It can make you feel good about how you are doing, but it can also make you wonder if you are doing well at all. All in how you look at it.
Agree! But, I would rather use it as some more or less directional info than 'crying' over it. 😉
