Is daily trade with steem dollars lucrative?

Today I would like to bring up a questioning, What do you think about Daily trade with steem dollars ?
First of all I have to informe you I'm no specialist about daily trade, just an beginner enthusiastic who want to learn as much as I can about it, and why not we all try to learn together?
well, I don't have much money to invest, actually if I told you folks the precise amount that i really have I think some of you would laugh or even tip me some cents like with the memo, please don't starve
Anyway recently i just decided to get all my saved money (which is really not a big deal) and invest in cripto. I spend a couple of months studying and gathering information about it. and one of the results of it is that i end up finding this amazing steemit.
so after gather all this information I have decided start investing 1/3 of the amount that I have at steemit in order to be able to keep paying the randowhale, and 2/3 in Litecoin, because I was excited about its potencial and te fact it looks like it still undervalued. in addition I end up finding that something big might happen involving Litecoin at agust 1st so I'm literally betting on it.
but recently I realized that in a couple of days the Steem dollars was worth about 1.7 US $ and yesterday it was like 1,06 US $
which makes me wonder. Is it possible to the Steem dollar comeback for something near to 1.5 US $ before agust 1st ?
Well my inner voice told me YES so i decided to sell my Litecoins for now and got steem dollars instead. But as I told I'm acting based on the info I was able to gather and mostly by instinct, so I would really appreciate to listen your opinion about this subject too.
I'm pretty sure some of you also fell like me in this subject, don't considering yourself as a specialist but still having your opinion in the subject due to your previous experiences. Well there is one thing I'm sure about. If we think together, we learn and grow together so be my guest and lest talk about it!

I'm also new to this crypto world but if i can tell you something i'll just put the traditional phrase here: "don't put more money in crypto than you can afford to loose". Diversify! Diversify! Diversify!
Either you spread the eggs on several baskets or you put it all in one and take really good care of that. But diversofying can make it less risky.
If you really wanna get into day trade study some technical analisys and understand the markets before getting in. Try first with really small amounts of money. Anyway i prefer the idea of generating value to the community like here on steemit.
One last things: check decred. It's a really awesome project. Imho it has way more potential than litecoin in the future. But i believe in both.

Since I'm active on Steemit I do much less trading. And more value creation in the form of articles.
That happened to me too, I was thinking about make money with daytrade, but be active on steemit is really proftable, and secure, so you need to risk your capital, that is one of the reasons I looked up to try a "day trade" with steem dollar since I'm here everyday I can manage to keep an eye to the price more often.

Well I guess trading on SBD is quite profitable, at least for me, I have purchase SBD on Bittrex many times and it always gives me a good return. Although Steem doesn't move much.
You can give it a go if you want.
Yeah right now i'm a little sad couse i just realized that Litecoin went up today, but i got the steem dollars yesterday so no profit for me, but this is good, in fact it tells me I'm looking at the right spot when I look to Litecoin, question I have now is should I wait to steem dollar goes up a little or for Litecoin to drop.
for now i think i will just wait and look, i didn't profit but didn't lose anything so far so thats ok I guess.

Good post @andyluy! I like Steem, everyone seems to say its a great crypto and a good long term investment... So I have put some of my own money into that. I do love Litecoin as well, and I think there may be some big thinks happening for Litecoin as well in the future.. so I have some of those.
From the little that I do know, I would say it is good to diversify your portfolio... so don't have everything in Steem dollars or Litecoin, have a bit of both :)

diversify is the safest way to invest, even in crypto. I intent to do it soon to, I did it all in the same place this time because Its really a cheap money, so if i lose it will be not like a big deal but if i manage to get a nice growing this might become something, so I'm really just wating to see what will happen in agust, if it is something bad. I'll just be like hakuna matata
and look Forward long term investments here, if nothing happens or something good happens i will immediately diversify the investments on here, and some of this coins that might look to have another pump soon.
