1. "The Merger" wins the Foundation Structure Election
The Steem Alliance Working Group have now announced the official results of the Foundation Structure Proposal Election.
The proposal known as "The Merger" submitted by @shadowspub received 59.94% of the vote and 6M SP of the 12M SP represented in the community election.
2. Whysteem.com arrives...
A group of app developers and community organizers have come together to build Whysteem.com as a portal to bring more people into Steem.
They plan to spend USD 15,000 on advertising on various social media platforms to promote the WhySteem site and Steem.
3. Time To Come Together
Steem investor @theycallmedan is launching 'Steem Tank' - a Shark Tank / Dragons Den type show for people with projects to build and promote Steem.
The show will be piloted on @pennsif's show Do on MSP Waves this coming Thursday 2 May.
If you would like to pitch your idea to Dan and Nicholas email [email protected].
You will need to be able to come on Discord Voice Chat on Thursday, 8pm - 10pm UTC to present your project.
Dan talked about Steem Tank on the DO show that took place this past Thursday.

4. More Steem-Engine Projects go live on FreedomEx
Steem Smart Media Exchange FreedomEx have announced further projects they are partnering with including Actifit, Krypto Gamers and Bitcoin MYK.
FreedomEx has also launched an Accelerator Project called RocketX.

6. Steem's Satoshi's Treasure Team update
Co-ordinator of Steem's Satoshi's Treasure team gives an update on progress and how they are gearing up for the release of the fifth clue on Sunday.
They are still on the lookout for keen treasure hunters...
7. Security update released for Steem-in-a-Box
Witness developer @someguy123 has released v0.20.10 of his Steem-in-a-Box package for witness node setup.
This new version is a security update and should be applied as soon as possible.
8. Is Zappl coming back?
@taskmaster4450 has spotted signs that Steem's own Twitter-like app Zappl might be about to make a come-back.
9. KURE Community Curation App Update
Developer @krnel has released further updates to his KURE Community Curation App.
The updates include the facility for transferring ownership of communities.
10. Steem Meetup Aachen - Friday 3 May
@detlev has put out a reminder for anyone who would like to join the Steem Meetup in Aachen next Friday.
