SOS Daily News : all you need to know about the State of Steem @ 20 December 2018
So that was the State of Steem Forum #2 in the bag. Six more to come, resuming in the new year with #3 DApps, Apps & Developments on 10 January.
Today's theme was Steem Technology covering topics such as nodes, RocksDB, SMTs, RC Delegation Pools, Account creation. We also spent some time exploring the decision making mechanisms to move development forward as Steemit Inc pulls back.
We had an excellent group of committed and well informed guests speaking on the forum including @blocktrades, @crypto.talk, @helo, @knowledges, @shredz7, @someguy123, @starkerz, @themarkymark, @therealwolf, @upheaver, @ura-soul and @yabapmatt.
Some great ideas are starting to come out of the SoS Forums. The next step will be finding ways to turning these into action. More on that shortly.

Community Action Point : The State of the DApps
One idea for the State of the Steem Forums is that we should put forward a simple Action Point for the Community to do after each forum to help boost Steem.With the recent addition of Steem to the State of the DApps site, although steemit.com is #1 on the rankings, we are keen to get more steem dapps moving into the Top 10, or even the Top 3...
Conveniently @esteemapp has just put out a post asking for community help to push them up the rankings. You can use their step by step guide to support esteem... or any other of the Steem DApps for that matter 😃

intresting talk yesterday, glad to see that the core of the com is willing to make progress and dont rely on Steemit Inc for a change.
I think the next months will be crucial for the existence of the steemblockchain and if we want to succeed we have to work together and bring a fundamental understanding of cryptoeducation and business development into this ecosystem.
There are a lot of inspiring projects around and on the blockchain which are worth of supporting, but there must a proper concept/strategy behind it otherwise it is not sustainable like Steem Inc.
