I was pleased to hear some great news that was recently announced of a technological project coming to the #Steem #Blockchain.

The project, known as #MIRA, will effectively change the way nodes stores the data of the #Steem #Blockchain in essence allowing a significant reduction in the capital cost of running a node.

This is great news and music to my ears.

Quote taken from the recent announcement...

"Consequently, #Steem should become even more decentralized as the barrier to entry for running nodes is dramatically lowered."

Commercializing and Monetizing the #Steem #Blockchain and #Steem Community

It has been a concern of mine for a while now that in order to commercialize and monetize the #Steem #Blockchain and #Steem Community, barrier of entry to run a node had to be cut dramatically.

I have been saying for some time now that #Steem as a Crypto Asset and store of value would be more commercially attractive to an Investor if there were ten's or possibly hundred's of thousands of nodes and #MIRA is a positive step in the right direction.

I am looking forward to seeing #MIRA roll out.
