These are previews from the Belgian Jupiler League Playoffs with all the latest on team news, player form, injuries along with my personal bets and betting angles, ...
There are mid-week games this week in the Belgian League Playoffs the next 3 days and all matches start at 20:30 Belgian Time. 4 are already being played tonight...
Antwerp vs Genk
Racing Genk really stepped it up in their first playoff 1 match against Anderlecht winning with a deserved 3-0 Score. So did Club Brugge and I'm currently seeing it as a race for the title where these 2 teams really push each other to their best level. Antwerp played a good 1st half against Standard with mostly Striker Mbokani showing excellent form. They did collapse in the 2nd half and I fear for them that they are not there yet to really compete in these playoffs. They have been a better away compared to home and I'm willing to take some on the visitors in this match. Genk as a team managed to outperform the Asian lines during the regular season while Antwerp failed to. With current form, I see this as a match between a slightly overrated home side vs a slightly underrated away side. I took a full 1 unit stake very early this week on
Racing Genk -0.25 @ 1.804. by now this is trading at 1.724 on Pinnacle which I would not take. The 1.763 odds available on
Sportmarket Pro I would take half a unit on still If I didn't already have it and wait to potentially get more live. For as far as the total goes, Antwerp did play more forward than anticipated (mostly because Standard let them at the start) and a goal from Genk could make this one wide open giving a good live betting spot.
Cercle Brugge vs Zulte-Waregem
Zulte-Waregem played a scoreless draw at home against Waasland against all expectations of this turning into a wild high score match. They were better in the 1st half where Waasland was the better team in the 2nd half. Cercle Brugge has been in a horrible streak and still are playing badly. I'm also not sure if they have the drive the turn things around still or if they just look to next season already. I would like Zulte-Waregem at the offered Asian handicap line if it wasn't for them seem to lack motivation for Playoff 2. They know the deal for Playoff 2 from previous seasons, having to play a week extra if they win their group to have a match where they have very little chance to actually win the last European ticket against a team that's better and is used to much tougher opponents. I'm happy to sit this one out pre-game and see what's in store live.

Moeskroen vs Union
Moeskroen seem to have broken their good streak and really missed many of their creative offensive players in the match away against Kortrijk where they lost 3-1. Union on the other hand played a good match and just like last season where they also participated in playoff 2 are taking a hot start. They are a good counter team and I was happy to see the high handicap they got and managed to get in early on them taking
Union +1 @ 2.043. by now the odds dropped to 1.543 on pinnacle for this line and all value it had is gone. I will keep an eye on the Union Team total line live and hope to get some more in on that at some point during the match.
Waasland vs Kortrijk
This is a match between 2 teams that played good matches against opponents that were not playing at 100%. I'm really tempted to take some on the home team in this match at the underdog but Kortrijk is on my list of team to back after their match against Moeskroen. I don't expect the line to move a lot and will wait it out for now as I'm failing to pull the trigger. I might take a small bet on Waasland later today. For Now

Late info might change my view on what is written in these previews. I will cover these matches live in our SBC Discord Channel. The Bookmakers that I am personally using and currently am willing to recommend...

I do expect an early lead for Genk. After that Antwerp will have to attack leaving space behind the defenders. Ito will break through and be fouled.
So I am going for a red card 😁
The early Antwerp goal messed everything up in this one. Genk did not deserve the loss based on the entire match really. That's how it goes often, unfortunately.
That’s football indeed!
Also too bad that Antwerp already started with the time wasting from the moment they scores their goal!
