To only not care
What the others think
Though surely I do.
What use, otherwise,
All of existence?
If there is no one there
To hear, to care, to love
Then truly we all float
Lonely though surrounded,
And for all that we chase,
It is dust we will find.
Rather we're sharing this phase
A spirit's moment in time
Bound to others in travel
Living and telling stories
Laughing and sharing our love
In brief respite from being
Energy, or other things.
Through the moon's pain and the sun's joy
We are become dense and have slowed
In pursuit of so called "finite"
To understand that love and loss
Are frequency independent,
That only together we rise,
And through each other we may see
The immutable everything
