The Universe is
Indifferently speeding,
Arbitrarily choosing
Directions that are leading us
To a manufactured destiny,
Against our free will or better judgement.

But when the cosmos proceeds to collapse
And squeezes us closer together
We will become as the diamonds:
Sterner stuff in a shined shell
Sparkling in the rough,
Conformed in beauty.

I will not fight this
But only wait
Til you're close
To say
"Stay"

Seen,
Unseen,
Total minds
In existence
Are equal to one.
