Today, I would like to invite all of you on a journey on discovering the Life Changing Quotes by Buddha, and my personal opinion.

Oggi mi piacerebbe invitarvi tutti a scoprire, le citazioni di Buddha che possono cambiare la vostra vita e la mia opinione personale su di esse.

Who was Gautama Buddha??

Siddhartha Gautama, know as Gautama Buddha was born around the 6th century BC.
Much of what we know of Buddha is passed down from legends and oral traditions. According to mainstream accounts, he was born to an aristocratic family who sheltered him from worldly suffering by keeping him inside the castle.
But against his parents’ wishes, he ventured outside the palace walls and discovered dead bodies, elderly people, and sick people. In response, he ran away from his family and became an ascetic, living as beggar and owning no property.

His teachings form the basis of the religion known today as Buddhism.

The earliest written texts detailing his life and teachings are dated nearly 500 years after his death. However, he is referenced indirectly in other texts, and his teachings are mentioned by others well before this.
He determined meditation to be the only way to determine truth. So, he sat under a tree and resolved to stay there until he had discovered ultimate truth. Nearly fifty days later, Siddhartha Gautama is said to have attained Enlightenment.

Gautama Buddha died around the age of eighty, but his teachings are still very important even in our times.

There is a lot more about his life that we should learn and i invite you to research about it and feel free to as me lins or boos in the comments, Unfortunately this post is not about his life, but about his teachings, so i will stop here taling about his life and start with the Quotes!!!

Chi fù Gautama Buddha?

Siddharta Gautama, anche conosciuto come Gautama Buddha o semplicemnte il Buddha, è nato intorno al 6° secolo a.C
Molte delle cose che si sanno di Buddha è arrivato a noi attraverso leggende e detti tradizionionali.
Si dice che lui sia nato in una famiglia aristocratic, la quale gli nascose la sofferenza e il male del mondo, tenendolo dentro un castello in cui lui aveva tutto ciò che desiderava.
Ma dopo essere cresciuto decise di uscire dal pallazo e vedere il mondo esterno, anche se la sua famiglia non voleva farglielo fare, quindi uscì dal castello e vide persone morte, persone molto povere, e persone molto malate. Di conseguenza abbandonò il castello e comincio a vivere come un mendicante e senza una dimora.

I più antichi testi che parlano della vita e degli insegnamenti di Buddha sono datati a circa 500 anni dopo la sua morte, Ma comunque viene nominato in altri testi, e i suoi insegnamenti sono menzionati anche in altri testi che datano a molto prima del 500a.C.
Lui si rese conto che la meditazione fosse l'unico modo per capire quale sia la verità assoluta. Quindi decise di mettersi a meditare sotto un albero e di rimanere li fino a quando non avrebbe scoperto quale è la verità assoluta. Dopo quasi 50 giorni si dice che Siddharta Gautama si è illuminato e da allora fu chiamato il Buddha e cominciò a praticare i suoi insegnamenti.
I suoi insegnamenti sono diventati le fondamenta ciò che oggi conosciamo con il nome di Buddismo.
Siddharta Gautama è morto quando aveva circa 80 anni ma i suoi insegnamenti sono molto importanti ancora oggi.
Ci sarebbero ancora moltissime cose che dovremmo conoscere riguardo la sua vita ma purtroppo questo post riguarda le sue citazioni, quindi mi fermerò qui con la sua vita e vi invito a dare un occhiata alle citazioni.

If we want to change our lifes, we should not look for external changes, but first of all we should change our way of thinking, because when we start thinking differently, we also start acting differently.
So when you want something, or have a problem, before looking for the solution outside, first look inside and see what should you change in your thoughts in order to get what you want.

Noi siamo gli unici a creare la nostra realtá, ciò che pensiamo e le esperienze vissute dettano il nostro futuro.
Se vogliamo cambiare la nostra vita, non dovremo pensare a cambiamenti in fattori esterni, ma prima di tutto dovremmo cambiare il nostro mondo di pensare, perché quando iniziamo a pensare in modo diverso, iniziamo anche ad agire in modo diverso.
Quindi quando desideri qualcosa, oppure hai un problema, prima di guardare all'esterno, dobbiamo guardare dentro la nostra testa e cercare di capire quali pensieri sarebbe utile cambiare per riuscire a risolvere il nostro problema.

Divide and conquer. This is what the governments with the help of the media are doing. If we are all together we could not be lied so much and be rulled so unfairily by the government, but if we are focusing on hating each other and on believing that we are different, we are easier to be rulled.
We are constantly creating walls and dividing ourselves in our minds.
"I don't like this guy cause he is from another country."
"I'm different from that guy because he plays for another team."
"I'm different from that guy because he says sirians are poor people and running from a war, but i think all sirians are terrorists."
The medias are used in order to divide us, by offering us choiches and by making us think that one choice is good, the other is bad.
We should understand that we are all equals, we are all humans, we all live on this planet, and in hating our enemy we are hating ourselves, because there is no such thing as "my enemy"

• “Nel cielo non c’è distinzione tra est e ovest, sono le persone a creare queste distinzioni nella propria mente per poi pensare che siano vere.

Dividi e conquista. Questo é ciò che i governi con l'aiuto dei media sta cercando di fare.
Se fossimo tutti uniti, non sarebbe cosí facile, per il governo, governarci e mentirci.
Ma se noi siamo concentrati nell'odiarci e nel credere che siamo differenti, diventiamo molto più facile da governare.
Stiamo continuamente costruendo muri e differenze nella nostra mente perché questo é ciò che vediamo in tv tutto il giorno.

"Io sono diverso da quell'altro tizio perché io tifo la Roma e lui la Lazio, quindi siamo nemici."
"Io sono diverso da quella persona perché lui dice che i siriani sono delle persone povere che stanno scappando da una guerra, ma io sò che in realtá stanno solo invadendo il nostro paese per bombardarci"
Queste sono le cose che vediamo ogni giorno in televisione, tutte idee che servono soltanto a dividerci gli uni dagli altri ,invece che, farci vedere che in realtá siamo tutti esseri umani e se collaborassimo non esisterebbe più la fame nel mondo, le malattie sarebbero più facili da sconfiggere perché i medicinali non sarebbero più soltanto un business, non esisterebbero più le guerre, perché capiremmo che siamo tutti uguali e quindi non esistono nemici.
Ma questo non é ciò che desidera un governo che vuole soltanto soldi e potere, quindi cercano di dividerci, creando muri e differenze nella nostra mente usando i media.

A good explanation of this quote is the text bellow, some say the student that is talking to the atheist professor was Albert Einstein, even if there are no sources to that and many say it is just a story, but who said it doesn't matter as much as what he said is:

• Ci deve essere il male per far si che il bene possa dimostrare la sua purezza rispetto ad esso.

Bene e male sono soltanto le due estremità della stessa cosa.
Il testo di seguito esprime molto bene l'idea di questa citazione, Alcuni sostengo che lo studente che parla al professore sia stato Albert Einstein, anche se non esistono fonti attendibili a riguardo e molti dicono che sia solo una bufala e lo studente non era Albert Einstein, ma è soltanto una storia, ma chi l'abbia detto non è importante quanto ciò che ha detto:

Allora lo studente replica, ‘Il male non esiste signore, Il male non esiste, Signore, o perlomeno non esiste di per sé; il male è semplicemente l’assenza di Dio. Come per il freddo o il buio, è una parola che l’uomo ha inventato per descrivere l’assenza di Dio. Dio non ha creato il male. Il male è il risultato di ciò che avviene quando l’uomo non ha l’amore di Dio nella sua vita. È come il freddo che si sente quando manca il calore, o il buio che si percepisce quando non c’è luce"
