Life Changing Quotes and Personal Opinion #9:Friedrich Nietzsche

in #philosophy7 years ago

I would like to share with you what i think to be the most Life Changing Quotes by Friedrich Nietzsche and my personal opinion on them.

Who was Friedrich Nietzsche?

Friedrich Nietzsche was born on October 15, 1844, in Röcken bei Lützen, Germany. During his career, he published numerous major works of philosophy, including Twilight of the Idols and Thus Spoke Zarathustra. In the last decade of his life he suffered from insanity; he died on August 25, 1900. His writings on individuality and morality in contemporary civilization influenced many major thinkers and writers of the 20th century.
He is known for his writings on good and evil, the end of religion in modern society and the concept of a "super-man.

I will stop here with this very short introduction on his life because i think that his words are far more important than what he has done during his life, If you are interested in his life ask me in the comments, and i will happily give you some videos, book titles or articles, that will help you understand more about him and his life.

QUOTES

  • I'm not upset that you lied to me, I'm upset that from now on I can't believe you.

Try not to lie, not even little lies because when you will get discovered, nobody will trust you anymore and you will be seen as a liar.
The truth always comes to light so try not to lie.

To be trusted is far more important than telling a lit
tle lie and even for a little lie you could loose your trust very easily.

Lying can be an addiction like smoking or drinking alcohol. It provides comfort and becomes a fallback mechanism to use when you're faced with uncomfortable feelings.

  • Sometimes people don't want to hear the truth because they don't want their illusions destroyed.

I guess this also happened to you, that sometime you would have prefered to not know what the truth is, because you were scarry of discovering something that you wouldn't like.

But we should never be scarry of the truth, it doesn't matter how ugly it could be, always face it. Even if it is the worst, if you know it, atleast you can do something to change it but if you choose to not know it, you will always have doubts about it and couldn't even act on changing it.

  • There will always be rocks in the road ahead of us. They will be stumbling blocks or stepping stones; it all depends on how you use them

In our life we will always encounter problems and obstacles but we have to face them and overcome them. We have to see this rocks as stepping stones and use them to get as where we are headed.

Don't let your dreams to be stopped by anything, always follow your dreams, and with patience and persistence they will all become reality.

Remember that you are not less than anybody, we are all equals, some aply more, some apply less.

Nietzsche is one my--if not my--favorite philosophers of all time. Those are mighty fine quotes you included. It's great that you took the time to provide a bit of explanation regarding your interpretation of them!

Thank you for your kind words man.
I like the quotes but i also want to include my point of view and to try to know other's points of view on them.

That is true. the things which let us feel sad that our feelings go down to our beloved person.

Thank you for stoping by.

My favorite;
God is dead - Nietzsche
Nietzsche is dead - God

hahah this is a good one.

I do believe in God. Only a question related to the comment: what is a God to a nonbeliever?

I also believe in God, i don't believe in religions, because i think they missinterpret the word of God and suck money from people.
I think there is no such thing as nonbeliever, Everybody believes in something.

A nonbeliever to a God entity.

A believer in pure nothingness, which is very hard if not impossible for the human mind to comprehend.
