The latest video game produced by Rockstar Games studios, Red Dead Redemption 2 must go out this Friday on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. But while the game preloading has already begun, many users are complaining of slowdowns observed on the PSN.

Red Dead Redemption 2 is what we call an event game. Following of a successful game released in 2010, it is expected by many players around the world, even if it will only be released on the Microsoft and Sony consoles. Its commercialization is only expected tomorrow - October 26 - but to relieve servers it’s already possible to pre-load some of its content. And you should now that Red Dead Redemption 2 represents a total download of 97 GB on PlayStation 4 and a little less on Xbox One (85 GB).
Problem, several users - especially PlayStation players - have reported problems downloading the game data. Technical problems that slow down considerably observed flow. More "interesting", the users in question point out that these download speed problems are only for the Red Dead Redemption 2 files. As soon as they download another game, the flows return to normal. From there I would say that Sony would have probably limited the PSN speeds of the Rockstar Games game not to disturb other users.
However, things should very quickly get back to normal. This weekend, fans will probably take the destiny of Arthur Morgan and discover one of the most ambitious Westerns game I have ever see ... Nevertheless, if they play on PlayStation 4 or Xbox One, because Rockstar Games has no planned a Switch version and the hypothetical PC version remains ... hypothetical... snif snif
