DEK Macro Photography: Beetle on a Daisy
Macro photography is one of the most difficult types of photography - sometimes perspective and depth of field is everything! Here you can see a rare shot of a Beetle on a Daisy. The stem of the daisy is known to withstand up to 800 kilograms of weight.
Quickly edited in GIMP. You can click for a bigger image!
OK, OK, here's the actual photo of a beetle, in search of some grub. In the out of focus areas you can see tiny ants on an off-road adventure!
Taken @ 105mm, f/11, 1/100s, ISO 500. You can click for a bigger image!
