Hi Steemit!

Today in ”Get Some Jazz Steemit” , I'm sharing with you a song played by this incredible woman, Esperanza Spalding.

The song, "Endangered Species" (Wayne Shorter).

There's not much to say about this performance.

I've been following Esperanza's music for a few years, it never ceases to astonish me.

The way she is able to groove that bass line while singing that extremely complex melody Wayne Shorter compossed many years ago, is way beyond my understading.

With 5 studio albums, and a young age, she managed to play with and for many of the greatest jazz, r&b and soul musicians of this era, I don't think that's easily achievable tbh.

I hope you enjoyed the performance, check her music out, you will not be dissapointed!
