What Is An Infographic?
Visual representation of data in a format which is easy to scan and understand. It turns boring into WOW! Comes in various forms like Informational IGs, Timeline IGs, Charts, Process, Numbers and thousand others. A designer can play with data in several ways. Use a lot of icons, colors, fonts. images, emojis etc. Simplicity is the key here and I have explained( in the IG above) the components of a good Infographic in the most decorated way. You will learn how to explain everything in a form of shortest visual story possible. As per my knowledge gained through several YouTube videos and blogs online, there are 6 ingredients to the perfect recipe:
- Understanding of the Concept or Idea
- Story for Entertainment
- Effiel Tower View From TajMahal: Something Unique
- Structure of Data
- A Beautiful Message
- Visual Orgasm
Why Infographics Are Important?
- Big concepts into small spaces make it easy to save watcher's time and ours to get an appreciation.
- Extremely engaging. I hope, I will get huge engagement on this one. ;)
- Your audience remembers. It's proven scientifically as well. Haha!
- They make you look cool. Like an EXPERT!
- Connect with your target audience and lure them into your trap. 😈
- Attracts attention and a lot of upvotes from everyone.
- A great marketing & branding tool
