Weird I feel when I talk to some people
I kind of go into a queer mood
Am I an introvert?
Why do I feel so uncomfortable
when answering personal questions
yet I feel close to my online friends
who I feel will never make me queasy
I must be a strange person
who hid behind sofas when a little girl and visitors came
age has crept in and I am still the same
am I the only one to behave like this?
Like my teacher once said
I live in my own world
but thankfully
I do not see any rabbits around
or the Cheshire cat

I write poems to express myself. I started writing at the age of twelve or so and some of my poems were published in magazines for children, a time when print still ruled the world. The internet and the blogging world has helped me write poems. Most of it was as I wrote earlier, to express myself and my thoughts. I have also been a ghostwriter.
Steemit has helped me write with freedom and also earned me very good friends who encourage me to write. I hope my readers will support me and also join in this contest. I am not a student of literature and so I do not consider myself an expert in poetry. It is the judge who will decide.

Very authentic, I like that.
I think a lot of people "suffer" (lack of a better word) these feelings. I actually feel the same way while talking to some, most people. I feel that in live interactions we are picking up the frequencies of their vibration and it makes us feel some kind of way according to receptivity to these frequencies. Each case is different I believe, ( yours maybe more extreme than mine.
I really liked this poem because it showed me inside of your mind and gave me glimpse into your world, though we have never met.
The only thing I wish is if you gave more examples so I could have a deeper image but that just me wanting more lol.
Also the formatting, maybe some stanza and another picture that portrayed your feelings like this maybe, at the top.
All in all good authentic poetry . Good one man.
