Why should you fear 'fear'?
just think of those that are near
the worries will melt away
when you confide in those whom you hold dear
Fear makes people mad
it brings about thoughts that are sad
those that succumb to fear
end up doing things that are bad
Courage to stand up and face what is to come
makes you brave and ready for what is to become
The Almighty is guarding you always
Remove the fear and happiness welcome
Life is filled with paths unknown
walk with courage and do not moan

I write poems to express myself. I started writing at the age of twelve or so and some of my poems were published in magazines for children, a time when print still ruled the world. The internet and the blogging world has helped me write poems. Most of it was as I wrote earlier, to express myself and my thoughts. I have also been a ghostwriter.
Steemit has helped me write with freedom and also earned me very good friends who encourage me to write. I hope my readers will support me and also join in this contest. I am not a student of literature and so I do not consider myself an expert in poetry. It is the judge who will decide.

Fear is a subtle killer, it pushes you away from the dreams you have built for yourself. it robs you of all your self-confidence and ginger. I hope people learn that the fear of fear is the most dangerous thing ever.

Love this and a very important message. This line sums it all up for me -
Because when you realize that and have true faith in it - there's really nothing to fear.
I'd like to point out I'm not religious, but that doesn't mean I don't know the importance and power of faith in the almighty ;)
