Rain~ #freewrite day 54
Hi Everyone!!
She lifted her arms above her head as the rain slowly made its way down her body.
Lifting her head up, slowly tilting it back, her face received the full extent of the rain as it came down, slowly, running over her whole body, cleaning her of the thoughts that had plagued her over the last weeks.
It was a soft cleansing rain that she had needed for a long time. To cleanse her body, her soul ......and just live in the moment.
She started to twirl left to right, slowly, then switching directions with a jerk, her wet skirt flew out, sending rainwater miles off into the field.
Her laughter could be heard for miles.
The villagers all breathed a sigh of relief that their Lady was once again back to her normal self.
The town loved her so much but when she was in a dark mood, they knew, only time would take that mood away. They had learned to let her be until the blackness passed.

Very poetic writing! I Imagine the Lady of your story like a princess of the faerie people, adorable like a gentle rain when Happy, but terrible like a storm when angry. :) Lo

I wish it was as easy as stepping out into the rain to cleanse away all of the bad thoughts and set me in a better mood. When I was young, dancing in the rain with a nice lady might just have done the trick, these days I would just get wet. 😏
I do too @deaconlee!! Sometimes I think we have to make our own rain to dance in to put us in better moods tho. One of the bad and good things about getting older I think. hugs
So wise to leave her alone until the dark mood laves her!!
