Day 304: 5 Minute Freewrite: Sunday - Prompt: see you on the other side
This prompt sounds like attending a leadership seminar or a multi level marketing seminar. Those leaders often use this phrase at the end of their speech or talk that says "See you on the other side"
What does this phrase really meant? Which side is it?
in the year 1964, I was working in a semiconductor as a shift electrician. Due to my nature of the shift work, I have amber free time after duty. During that year, I join a "Direct Selling" organization to sell their household and domestic product such as cosmetic, vitamins and kitchen ware.
As a way to run the direct sale business, my leader will either organize a motivation talk or take me to attend talk by top leaders. At the end of the talk, the leader mentioned the phrase "| see you on the other side. To be honest, during those days, I have no idea what he meant.
During recent years, I attended several big scale seminar by Internet Marketers, MLM experts and Mobile app trainer. All of them has excellent public speaking skill and they can really convince you to sign up their course even before you finish their sales pitch. And as usual during recently years, almost all of these speakers mentioned the finishing speech by saying " See you on the other side"
I figured the what they really meant is to encourage you to join those successful people who has already join their course and able to see results. You are invited to be part of their successful team.
Anyway, that is what I understood the phrase.

ha..ha.. I am not sure whether it is greener on the other side but one thing for sure, the speaker are mostly professional marketers.

The other one I have heard is "See you at the top", so I am thinking the other side for them must be with the top earners, the ones who have successfully built the business.
