Day 301: 5 Minute Freewrite: Thursday - Prompt: flea market

Flea Market, there are quite several of them in Kuala Lumpur and Petaling Jaya near where I live. But the one that I like to introduce is the set up in the "Petaling Stree, Kuala Lumput , Malaysia
Some of the key reasons I highlight this flea market is the fact that:-
- It is there like a permanent stalls. Yes, you heard right.
- It is there 24/7
- It open to business almost 12 hours a day from morning to almost midnight everyday.
- It has a wide variety of goods display from daily toiletry, adult items like begs, attires, shoe and toys for kids
- It has food outlet almost every 10 meters away
- It is one of the tourist place of interest.
- The stalls are set up just in front of retail shops, hence complements the choices for customers
While many of the flea market in Kuala Lumpur are very focus on items on sale and display, Petaling Street is a tourist heaven for its wide varieties at a price that you must bargain. If you want to hunt for some special items for souvenir, Petaling Street Flea market is a better bet for your search
This flea market occupied the entire Petaling Street and it has evolved from the majority Malaysian Chinese traders but you can see foreign immigrants has taken over their place in recently years. The reputation for a China town should be considered again as it is not so China any more
I am disappointed to see it has turn into this status today
Cheers

Life always changes - so do the cities. But the market sounds like a great place to visit!
yes, indeed. It is a popular spot for tourist. It is well known as China Town" for tourist.
It has almost complete amenities for any non-muslim tourist from food to budget lodging.
Having said that, Muslim tourists are taken merely walking distance away to a nearby subway station where you can move around 5-stars hotels and modern infrastructure like shopping malls and restaurant include fast-food outlets.
Malaysia is one of the preferred tourist destinations in Asia region
Cheers
