HOW TO MAKE AVOCADO HUMMUS | HEALTHY VEGAN RECIPE | VIDEO RECIPE

This Avocado Hummus recipe combines two of my favorite ingredients into a delicious & healthy vegan dish. Avocados in this recipe add some creaminess to the hummus and cilantro adds much-needed health benefits. Avocado Hummus will take your next picnic, potluck, or sporting event to the next level.

Ingredients:

  1. Avocados | 2 ea, Ripe
  2. Chickpeas | 2 Cups, Canned or Cooked
  3. Fresh Cilantro | 1/4 Cup
  4. Juice & Zest of 1 Lemon
  5. Olive Oil | 3 Tablespoons
  6. Garlic | 2 Cloves
  7. Salt & Pepper | To Taste

Directions:

  1. In a food processor, add all of the ingredients. Blend until smooth. Make sure to occasionally scrape down the sides to ensure an even product.
  2. Serve with homemade pita chips, on top of a salad, or however you regularly enjoy your hummus recipes.

YAY. Did you end up making the hummus?

Without the chickpeas, they took too long to cook hehe. So it was guacamole and avo mousse. But I have a new batch of chickpeas in the freezer now and have to go to the market again.

I try to have chickpeas always on hand ;)

This one is healthy, but not all of mine are haha ;) I do really enjoy a mixture of both healthy and not so healthy. but mostly healthy :)

I just love the flavor of cilantro dear! That's an amazing combination with avocado, it surely bring a kick in the recipe!

Those are called pita chips, but you can enjoy this with regular crackers or vegetables like celery or carrots.
