Fit@40 diary - Entry #13: Fighting the urge
Today I when to my brother's house to watch the boxing (Joshua vs Parker) with friends. As you'd expect there was beer, pizza and being Easter, chocolate. However it was late and I'd eaten my calories for the day. So I stuck to water.
Being a non-drinker, I find it easy to fight the urge to fit in. It is also easy when I think about the 8+ mile run I did this morning. All that work would have likely been undone with a few too many slices of pizza and chocolate eggs. It simply wasn't worth it. The fight was just as good with H2O in the system!

Well iam agree with you friend because if we compare those delicious food iteams to our daily hardwork then only we will realise what is beneficial for us to do.
