Fit@40 diary - Entry #8: Have your cake... don't eat it!
So today I was at an all day conference however I was determined not to let that throw me off track. I woke up early and got my fasted cardio in early. After breakfast I headed for the conference armed with just a 2 litre bottle of water.
I struck luck (food-wise) at the conference as they served a hot lunch. However the real challenge came at the end of the day when the wine and cupcakes were brought out. Fortunately I don't drink however I'm a sucker for everything sweet. The conference was overflowing with too many cupcakes. And I didn't deprive myself... I picked up a batch.... and took them home for the kids!
If there are any left for the party on Thursday I may have one then!
