The Philosophy of Immigrant

Standing by the sea shore, a group of desperate would be immigrants were contemplating at the not far fluctuating lights across the Mediterranean. The way they were standing suggested they had been hypnotised by the distant faint lights that unite their vision. The pitch-black seaside where they were gathering made them lose their sense of belonging to the very land where they had lived. What was there left for them to make them identify, relate or refer to it? Most of them have endured unbearable journeys just to get a glimpse of those lights. They all seemed focused on crossing to the other side- the night Mediterranean breeze didn’t seem to awake them from their deep sedative state.
They all were determined to risk their lives for the sake of setting a foot in the European continent.
Their thoughts were frozen the moment the heard the sound of a boat’s engine roaring towards them. The closer it got the faster their hearts beat.
That was the boat which would help them cross the Mediterranean. The moment it reached the shore, they all started racing towards it…
