I think that when we die we return to dust. But there’s a sense in which we live on, in our influence, and in our genes that we pass on to our children. We have this one life to appreciate the grand design of the universe, and for that I am extremely grateful."

It's funny that the first book I've read of Stephen Hawking was his last book he never wrote, knowing that I appreciate the man for years now, I loved to see the videos he was making from time to time, his lectures, how somenone that smart who is working on such complicated things like blackholes, was willing to take a time to explain science to common people using simple ways to do so. Even when you disagree with his approach or his beliefs, you can't took your eyes off what he always represented : a power of brain to fight against an ill body .

I loved this book, even if I knew most of it because I've read his articles about blackholes, God and how we should look for another planet to live in. What was new for me especially when a lot of people were saying that he needs to ficus on resolving the problems we have here on earth instead of wasting time on looking for other inhabitant planets. Is that he was worried about what is happening here and, encouraging the use of clean sources of energy and raising awareness about global warming.

I loved how he talked about his teacher, and the importance of education to be Accessible from all over the world, saying that maybe there is another Einstein in places where we have wars and lack of schools. .

This book is easy to read, it is like sort of awensers to some important questions, such as : is there a God? How did it all begin? What is inside a blackhole? Is time travel possible? Will we survive on earth?... I enjoyed reading it and I'm sure you will enjoy it too

Wow, I didn't know that Stephen Hawking wrote books for the common people -- as a great mind that has made countless contributions to the scientific community, one would think that all of his research materials could only be found in lectures and research papers. This book definitely looks worthwhile to read, thanks for sharing this great find with us, @nationall! We’ve just fully upvoted to you. Looking forward to reading your future posts.
