Steemit Poets United: Daily Dose Of Poetry and Prose #41 (@madevi edition)
Good evening everyone!
This is already Daily Dose number 41! We have grown rapidly and are now working on getting this community off the ground for real. Slowly the contributors are dripping in, why haven't you joined yet? A few hours a month is all it takes! I will keep the small talk limited to this and move straight to the meat of the matter, the poetry and prose!
There were a few entries today fighting to be named first but i decided that @Jedhen would be my number one for today. This beautiful poem about his Beatrice is a testament to his love for her and made me feel jealous of both of them! ;)

The second entry i want to put the spotlight on is a superb little haiku by @DamianJayClay called Robin, written for @dbooster's Haiku Contest. Since it's a haiku i will not spoil it by saying too much.

The third entry i want to highlight today is a very dark one. It is called "Sometimes: Scorched Optimism" and it takes you to the dark side for a few moments. Funny how words can make us feel huh? Great poem this!
