Hahaha! Finally a contest by yours truly! Animal and pet lovers unite! :P
You know, I like cats, they are just adorable and annoying sometimes. Lol. I also appreciate sea creatures because I have some sort of affinity to the ocean I think. Oh I will write a post about the Pawikan conservation soon. I hope I get to it.
But first, here's ze mommy cat for you! ♥ She's just cute.
Anyway, what better way to celebrate Easter and the love of pets than having an after Easter contest! And because not all of us have Easter bunnies, I will make this a pet/animal contest! What kind of pet/animal contest? Well below are the rules.
♥ !! THE After Easter Pet/Animal Contest RULES !! ♥
1. So tell me, what's the most unique, funniest or strangest thing you saw a pet or an animal do?
Post your entry as a comment below. Must be between 210 to 350 words only. No more minimum word requirement but do elaborate please so we all enjoy the story. It should have a pic or video too as PROOF that you saw or experienced it. Pls make sure to include any Why, Where, When, What or How in your story (about the situation) so you can meet the required number of words.
You can make a post out of it but I will only require a comment contest entry below which is within the required number of words. 😊 The post can help in terms of explaining the story and it may or may not give you a higher chance of winning.
2. It has to be a TRUE STORY.
It doesn't need to be complicated but it has to have happened and it has to be the best you can share! PROOF can be a picture/video of you and the pet, or you at the zoo with the animal or a pic of an old picture you took from the zoo etc. Doesn't necessarily have to be on the day it happened if you don't have any pic/vid on that day.
If you don't have any video or picture of the animal you are talking about then maybe a picture/video of you traveling there? Or your companion's pic/video of you or the animal? If it's a family member's or friend's video, photo or article, get their permission to post it and credit them too. Just remember, * Honesty is the best policy. *
As long as you can prove you saw and experienced it yourself then it's a valid entry!
Example entries would be:
• Did you see a cat stick out it's tongue far too long like the cat pictured above that I wrote about in a previous post?
• Or did you see a snake save a puppy or something (like this could happen? I dunno, you tell me. Haha).
• Did your goldfish pretend to drown because your cat was watching it or what?
• Did your significant other's iguana do a somersault in the air and somehow it landed on your face?
• Did your kid call your attention to 2 zoo ostriches suddenly playing with one worm?
I mean I dunno what you saw and experienced so... do tell. Share your story with everyone, entertain us and win some SBD! (^_^)
3. Your comment HAS TO BE ORIGINAL and NOT COPIED from somewhere and must INCLUDE PROOF as mentioned above.
The most unique, funny or weirdest thing a pet/animal did should be something that you have seen with your own eyes and/or experienced personally.
FACEBOOK or YOUTUBE VIDEOS and popular ONLINE STORIES ARE NOT ALLOWED pls, unless of course you own the video or picture or article, INCLUDE the PROOF. Honesty is the best policy.
4. It's not required but feel free to upvote and resteem this post.
So if you upvote this post of course the SBD prize will increase and winners get more than what I can offer. I will put half of the 75% SBD I get from this post into the prize pool if a lot of people upvote this.

Did a lot of people find it funny, weird, unique too? Genuine interaction on the comment is what counts, NOT the # of comment upvotes.

This monkey is very fond of chicks like mother missed anak.kalau he can chicken must be caught and carried while looking around. if we take him he will be angry

Hi, these days I went to visit a friend.
On sun terrain you have a peacock. and everyone wants to take a picture of their beautiful tail. but never opens it. the funny thing is that when I approached where it was opened its tail. take the opportunity to take this photo. my friend did not know what the peacock did, he is painful but with me he was not

I read @simplymike's beautiful cat story and decided that I had to include a story about our dogs, Max and Forte.
I used to have a dog named Max, and he was my best friend for 13 years. He was supposed to be a first generation Labradoodle; a cross between a Lab and a Poodle. The idea was the 'new' breed was supposed to be non-shedding, but Max unfortunately grew hair like a Poodle and shed like a Lab! When Brian, my husband, and I got together, he had a beautiful Blue Merle Collie named Forte, who was the King. Suffice it to say that the dogs had to sort out who was boss. One day we came home to furniture tipped over, plants in disarray, and the dogs laying together, peacefully on their bed. We had no idea what had happened but began to figure it out come feeding time.
As usual, I filled their bowls with food, and called them over. Max, being a Lab, was always the first to swallow his food whole, but this time, he sat down and simply stared at his food. I tried to entice him, but no go. Eventually, Forte slowly made his way over and began to eat. Only then, did Max do the same. In seconds Max was finished, but instead of licking his bowl clean, he left 3 little kibbles in there and I then watched Forte, finish his own, and then proceed to finish Max's as well. That became their pattern, and it was obvious to us that the overturned furniture was the two of them sorting out who was the alpha, and of course it was Forte!
Unfortunately, Forte died unexpectedly, and the first time I fed Max after Forte's demise, poor Max simply sat and stared at his food. It took some convincing, but he eventually ate, only to leave 3 little kibbles in his bowl, waiting for his buddy to come and finish it. I had to remove the remainder of his food so could relax after dinner. He was so confused and left food in his bowl for months afterwards.
Not to leave this on a sad note, Max was the dog who always got into trouble. Here is a picture of his face when he got caught, which was pretty regularly:

Oooh, that's interesting. Good thing no one saw them fighting over who's the boss of who. Lol. Happy you ended it on a good note or I will get sad too. Smiling Max had me laughing.

So yeah, I love cats too and we do have a lot of cats in the house. The funniest thing that I saw one of my cats do is when .. she is about to give birth. She was really climbing and walking all over the house and she's always meowing. And that time, her mom (the mom of the pregnant cat) also just gave birth as well. And all of a sudden, we just got shocked because the pregnant cat is taking her mom's kitten with her. She's biting the neck of the kitten and took it with her when she climbed up and find a place to give birth. We tried to get the kitten because it is not hers anyways but she really got mad so, we just let her be. The next morning, my brother hurriedly went to the box we prepared for her (a place where she can give birth) and he screamed,
"Papa!!!! The cat already gave birth!!!!"
And my papa, asked, "How many kittens?"
And my brother replied, "5 kittens!"
And we hurriedly went there to take a look. And we found this!!!!
Indeed, there are 5 kittens but the other kitten is already big. HAHA :D :D
Maybe the cat was trying to get the older kitten as a nurse for her babies, I guess. LOL :D
We saw that happen once too. Two cats were due to give birth within 2 weeks from each other, and once the kittens from the first one had arrived, the second one kept ‘stealing’ them. I think the maternal instinct is so big at that point in pregnancy that they nééd kittens to look after - lol
HAHAHA! :D Really? I wonder what they're thinking.. :D :D
Awwww... That's funny/weird indeed. Wonder why she brought the other kitten. Haha so cuuuute!

Ok here we go!
This is my kitty Elijah Moses, Eli for short. He passed away in 2013 and was 14 years old. He had the BIGGEST EYES of any cat I've ever known. Eli was a Siamese mix who was born in a barn. He was a great cat who made every foster that came through our door, dog or cat, at home. (I did alot of animal rescue). However, Eli was well....he had a certain habit. This habit was masturbating, which wouldn't have been that big a deal, except he was very VERBAL. Verbal as in howling while in the act. Oh and btw, Eli was neutered. Well one warm summer morning, I was having a yardsell, and the windows on my house were open. As I was totalling up the sale for a lady, Eli decided to "go for it" on a blanket on a chair near the window. It was extremely embarrassing!! The little old lady thought that Eli was being hurt or something which was not the case. I didn't know how to explain what was going on tastefully to a little ol' lady! Finally, it dawned on me to just tell her that the cat was in heat, despite the fact it was a male, which I left out, and gave her her change and strongly encouraged her to be on her way. As soon as she left, I rushed into the house and brushed Eli off the chair to get him to stop! Talk about terrible timing! Lol. Here's another picture of him that I digitally tweaked to look like a painting.

Cute cat. Ah well when I was a kid I think we had two cats pass away. Ah but cats will always be ❤.
I've had several kitties pass of old age. My most recent was Ashley who was Eli's side kick. It was spring of 2016. She had cancer and went down hill really quickly. She was 16 and a diva to the very end.

Meet my cat Kote-kun he's a 2 year old pure white cat. He is one of our 3 pure white cats, his real name is Kangkarot I know its sucks my brother gave that name to him because when he is still young, he is clumsy and all energetic. His two siblings are pawless and no name. Pawless bcause when she is young even when you torture her she will not scratch you it should be clawless we only realized that after a year 😂 and no name simply because we literally don't know what to call him 😂 and he decided to live with our neighbor, he is a TRAITOR 😂😂😂 So to begin with kote-kun now that he is 2 years old he grew up being silent the exact opposite of his childhood. He doesn't care when you call him or meow at him. He only meows whenever he is hungry. And oh 95% of his life is dedicated to sleep. As if he had a thesis to be done every night this cat is soo weird that he make a pose and freeze any time
And he always wanted to stand or sleep above some things
yes he is sitting in our laptop 😂 I think it makes him feel superior like im the king bow down to me 😂😂😂
And now he is sleeping above my brother's guitar amplifier. Hehehe And I guess every cat has their own crazy pose whenever they are sleeping
And now he tries to have a goodnight sleep in our glass cabinet where he doesn't fit at all!!! 😂😂😂😂 There's still tons of moments where we caught him having weird sleepy pose but wasn't able to capture it but I guess this will sums up all. Hihihi

Madam told me to removed the bird in her window but when I open it I saw their intimacy and love.How many minute I was watching them but they never notice me and they continue kissing to each other.Oh how I felt shy because I disturbed their happiness.

Meet peanut and scotch! They are one of the sweetest angels God has ever sent me. They came to us one sunny day. My ex saw them in the streets of Cebu, sold by a local breeder.
He immediately fell in love with the male pup with the darker brown spots. He was shy but very sweet, with really soft fur . He was such a good boy. But then, he fell inlove for the female pup too. She was so energetic and playful! He had a hard time choosing. The two seemed very close and knew that they would miss each other. He end up choosing both.
We named them Peanut(female) and Scotch (male pup) because of theur colors. As time goes by, the contrast on their behaviour became more glaring. There are times when we would train both of them for tricks, Scotch would easily learn his lessons and gets treats as a reward. Peanut, however, would only ran around with no clear direction. She knew too well that she could still earn the treats simply by being cute.
They would often waste their energy chasing cats, barking at strangers, running around the house, all the cute and silly puppy games. When they get tired, they would hug each other to sleep (as shown in the photo).
The two are inseperable. For two years they have been partners in crime. They did almost everything together. So when the time came when Peanut poke Scotch and he would no longer respond, we all felt sad.
Sooner than we thought, Scotch left us. He left my family in tears. We miss him so much. It is different without him now. The barks had become lonelier. We miss being greeted by two lovely dogs at the front door everytime we come home.
But most of all, I know Peanut misses him most. I wonder if Peanut knows that her brother is not coming back anymore. One day, If heaven really exists, I wish to be greeted by Scotch and all of the living things I loved after crossing the rainbow bridge.
Awww. :( So sad.
