@dandesign86 question for you. With your current answer you seem to have a good idea on it. When you write a post, the payout amount that appears below is on steem, or on SBD, or USD? This is something it gets me a bit confused.

I have been watching this set up and was thinking the same thing!
Since the sbd is supposed to stay at $1 but it still surges to over $3 tells the whole story! Steem to $25 by end of 2018! Bitshares $10 2018!
I thought that Steem Dollars were supposed to be pegged to the U.S. Dollar? (Quite confusing)
Well, they’re supposed to be but apparently there’s too much demand for SBD! (or something is not right with their rebalancing algorithm?). But if you think SBD will go back to 1$, than it’s not a bad idea to use them now to buy STEEM.
If sbd is at $3 use them to buy steem power!
