How I will determine the winner
After the payout of this post, I will make a list of all users, that commented this post and mentioned that they want to win the price.
Than I will search for the votes of the commenters. I will create a list, ordered by the timestamp of the vote, and protocol the name of the voter and the vote-weight in % of his vote. If a user changed his vote, I will take the last vote change into account. Every participants gets beerlottery-tickets equal to the vote weight of his vote. For example a 5% vote will give you 5 beerlottery-tickets, while a 20% Vote give you 20 tickets.
As mentioned above, you can multiply your chances to win the price if you resteem this post. The multiplier is the difference of your reputation minus 39. For example if your Reputation is 50 and you resteem this post, the multiplier is 11 (=50-39). If your reputation is below 40, you are not entitled to participate.
The final option to multiply the number of your beerlottery tickets is to sponsor this post one of the multiple vote-buying-boosters currently available on steem (booster, randowhale, discordia, younameit). I will sort all votes of these boosters by the final vote-value in rshares. The higher the sponsored vote is, the higher the multiplier you get. The sponsor of the weakest whale-vote will get a multiplier of 2, the next a multiplier of 3 and so on. If you sponsor multiple of these whale-votes, you will get multiple multiplier to the number of your beerlottery tickets.
At the end I calculate the total number of beerlottery tickets.
In order to determine the ticket number of the winner, I need a pseudo random number. I will calculate the product off the 3 factors
- BTC-USD price at EOD August 29th 2017 on Bitstamp (via tradingview.com, symbol BTCUSD, market bitstamp)
- DJI (Dow 30) EOD rate August 29th 2017 (via tradingview.com, symbol DJI, market cfd -TVC)
- SPX (S&P500) EOD rate August 29th 2017 (via tradingview.com, symbol SPX, market cfd -TVC)
Finally I will take this pseudo random number and will apply the modulo operator (modulo total number of beerlottery shares) to get the winning number. In our example 210164266941,16 mod 2540 = 961,16, so user C with his beerlottery ticket range from 820.000 to 2469.999 will win the present.
In the case that the winner refuses to accept the gift, I will exclude the winner from the calculation and calculate a new winner.
I have never seen this beer before and would love to win. Big fan of Hacker Pschorr weiss, but that's all I've ever seen.
