GERMAN BEER OF THE DAY ON TOUR #13 - The way we celebrate "Father's Day" - Part III - Thursday afternoon

welcome to the third and last part of my "Father's Day" special report.

After lunch we take a short break. Some people lie down, others walk a little. The first competition after lunch is sawing. The time is measured how long it takes to sawn through a 10x10 cm timber.
The sixth contest runs throughout the day. A beer bottle can be opened with a spoon. You must try to snap the beer cap as far as possible.
Over the years we have tried various techniques. Originally, we carried out this competition with a lighter, but the lighter was broken too fast. For this reason, we use our official competition spoon.
Looks like a beginner.
The shot went a little further. In order to win this competition you have to snap the beer cap 7 to 9 meters wide. Each participant has 3 attempts, but can also try as often as he likes. An open beer is to be drunk. Otherwise the participant will be disqualified.
The seventh competition is called "Zupf aus". Each participant must drink a bottle of beer (500ml) as quickly as possible. If there is still foam in the bottle at the end, there will be some penalty seconds depending on the amount of foam.
The eighth contest is also very nice. Each participant must unscrew 5 screws from a wooden beam as soon as possible. The wooden beam hangs in the air, and you have to screw from below. The first 3 screws are relatively simple, but than ...
After this effort it is time for coffee and cake.
Parallel to the coffee break the ninth competition takes place: Boobs Memory.
48 pairs, i.e. 96 cards are on the table.
Each participant is allowed to turn 2 cards. If the cards are together, you can keep the pair. Otherwise the next participant is the turn.
Don't forget to drink your coffee.
It takes almost an hour for the last pair to be revealed.
Then the 10th competition takes place. Nailing. Each participant must strike a nail with as few as possible strokes into a tree stump. The narrow side of the hammer must be used. Each participant has 3 attempts.
Finally the 11th competition takes place: Maßkrug halten. An Oktoberfest beer glass is filled with one liter of water. Each participant must try to hold the glass as long as possible with the arm extended.
There are spare ribs for dinner.
After dinner is the victory ceremony. Each participant receives a certificate.
The evening ends with a camp fire.
Amazing! I'd love to participate! Very manly action. I'd skip the grill but everything else looks awesome. NSFW eh?

Unfortunately this event is "closed source", but just make your own competition with your friends. Over the years we tested different contests, some were to time-consuming or unfair, and now we run it with these 11 disciplines.

Thank you. We are running this event since exactly 10 years now. Over the years we tried different contents. For example at the beginning we used wood from trees found in the neighbourhood of the event for sawing and chopping, but it was unfair because of the different diameters of the branch of the trees. So we switched to industrial manufactured wood beams. We have our plan who has to bring what to the event.

Ja, bin jahrelang immer auf den letzten 3 Plätzen gelandet, aber war dieses mal zum erstmalig Fünfter :-)
