Beat Battle League Week Six Update
Still have time to get your entries into the Beat Battle League for Week Six. We have extended the deadline for Week Six until Friday night with the winners being announced Saturday after @officialfuzzy’s Whaletank.
We already have seven (7) entries this week that has the judges' ears so happy :)

Remember the entries are judged on:
Sound Quality: does this shit sound crispy, in speakers and headphones, is there cracking or recording errors? How loud can we play it before you notice quality issues? etc
Technicality: what are the skills you displayed in making this beat? The technical aspects of the your craft. The layers and sounds do they match? How many? etc
Creativity: how unique your entry is. How well it revolves around the universal theme? O shit we have never heard that sound before? Stuff like that.
The prize pool is as follows:
FIRST PLACE WINNER: 65 Whaleshares + 20 SBD for a total of 85 Points
SECOND PLACE WINNER: 50 Whaleshares + 10 SBD for a total of 60 Points
THIRD PLACE WINNER: 40 Whaleshares + 6 SBD for a total of 46 Points
FOURTH PLACE WINNER: 30 Whaleshares + 4 SBD for a total of 34 Points
CROWD FAVORITE: 10 SBD for a total of 10 Points
The crowd favorite can be awarded to any Steemian with any entry this week. So the first place winner could win additional rewards or it could be another Steemian. All depends on you the Steemit community :)

For me the best one of this seven is ENTRY #6: @seveaux with "Moonshine"
Why? It sounds very professional has a good length and a very creative video.
I love the old school beats in it reminds me on some good days back in time.
The other six are good too but they are to short and don't sound this professional like Moonshine from @seveaux
I am not a judge of this challenge just wanted to give my opinion I wish you all best of luck and thank you for giving us this awesome beats keep it up my friends.

Shout out to all the new faces joining in this week! Was pleasantly surprised and it was a hard one to judge but hey.. you're all winners in my book!
I wanna do a co-ordinated facebook to steemit jump with my music affiliates. My first step is to make a fb page to explain this all. Finding it hard to explain tho, as I'm only just gettin to grips with it (n what it all really means for the future!!!) Anyone done this already??
..also @chiefmappster , keep doing this because I think it has the potential to be huge!!!!
It's been a challenge convincing FB friends to migrate.. mainly cause Steemit doesn't have a mobile app and the look and feel is actually pretty boring to most people.. just push it to those who get it, that's a good start
Totally agree. ... but that stuffs to come I guess!! Its all about the concept anyway!! I'm more thinkin' for my peeps who make content anyway, and don't know that this exists!!
The people I see in person are prob sick of me going on about it, but for those who I don't see regularly ... seems alot of people arn't even aware!!!!
As it stands, fb wants you to pay to get your own music page posts to go to your own followers!!! no brainer, no?! Lets make this work!!!
