What is the Steemit Music League?

Then the Steemit Music League (SML) is for you.
Steemians a new movement has begun to incorporate all the different facets of the the Steemit music community.
All in one place with synergy.
The Steemit Music League is for the Steemit community by the Steemit community.
It incorporates a new token on the Bitshares network called POINTS and brings together all the different aspects of the music industry, singers, rappers, artists, beat makers, audio production , designers, and programmers.
The goal of the Steemit Music League is to create an avenue for real, positive change for Steemians with dreams in the music industry.
O you are a vocalist or rapper? You can enter the the new Steemit Music League Challenge and the monthly Dreams Come True Challenge.
A beat maker? You can enter the Beat Battle League with the winning beats being used in the new SML Challenge and/or enter the DCT Challenge based off an universal theme of the month.
A designer or programmer? You can showcase your skills in the DCT Challenge so that Steemians can see the synergy in your work.
All these challenges and league all culminate into one place, the Steemit Music League.
All POINTS earned in the Beat Battle League, DCT Challenge, Steemit Music League Challenge, and the Music Producers' Feedback contest will feed into the leaderboard of the Steemit Music League.
Similar to the Beat Battle League Leaderboard below, the SML will have rankings showing overall standings and standings relative to your dream chasing category. it will also have fun, interactive daily and weekly side contest similar to the @spl as well.
O you a beat maker? It is easy to tell where you stand up against everyone in the League and also just against fellow beatmakers.
This encourages an environment of fun, beneficial competition that will bring out the best of Steemians a apart of it.

The Beat Battle League is in it's fourth week and has had thirteen (13) awesome Steemit music producers apart of it so far.
The League has awarded over 150 SBD and 750 Whaleshares so far to League members and has produced such epic, high-quality content its absolutely an inspiration to see.

The Dreams Come True (DCT) Challenge is in its first month and has over eight (8) legendary entries so far based off the universal theme of Love.
Each month any Steemian chasing their dreams can submit an entry that resonates with them based off of the universal theme for that month.
This month we have entries from writers, beat makers, poets, photographers, and more.
It is such an epic sight to see the vast array of talent and dreams from Steemians.

The newest challenge in the Steemit Music League (SML) is the SML Challenge.
Similar to the Rap Challenge, it is a weekly competition where any vocalist, rapper, or other performance art can submit an entry based off a weekly theme.
The goal of the SML Challenge is to provide an avenue of real, positive change for all of the musicians of Steemit to showcase their talent.
There is the Open Mic contest, the Rap Challenge, and the Karaoke contest but nothing really that is like the Steemit Music League Challenge.
The SML Challenge is open to any Steemian pursing their musical dreams so stay tuned for more information this week about the Steemit Music League Challenge. The first week starts this upcoming Monday :)
Lastly, the fourth contest apart of the Steemit Music League is the Music Producers' Feedback contest hosted by @vegancap.
This epic contest was announced this past week and begins this upcoming Monday.
The Music Producers' Feedback Contest's goal is to provide another avenue for Steemians to submit their original work and receive critical feedback from the community.
The creators and the Steemians providing feedback are both rewarded in an epic display of the love in the Steemit music community.

As you can see we have been working to make this premiere Steemit Music League an avenue for real, positive change for the long-term. We are building a movement for good for the long-term and are so happy to be able to off this to the community.
We love this Steemit community so much and appreciate everything it has to offer, so we feel like it is our duty to help out the community as best we know how to.
The Steemit Music League will provide long-term recognition, feedback, and rewards for Steemians with the ultimate goal of creating synergy among its members so that they can help each other achieve their dreams.
