Greetings. P.O. Tassium here.

How could the Banana Bunch resist passing along this great news?

Is that amazing news, or what?

I'm right there with ya, Tassium. That there is some amazin' news! As the Banana Nutritionist for this blog, I'm always interested in seein' how people could be gettin' more of the great nutrition you find in bananas. And now the good people of England will be able to have more of that awesome nutrition.

For once, Roxana, I tend to agree with you. This news is of such scientific import that we could see bananas in their proper place worldwide ~ which is to say, at the top of everyone's fruitbowl!

Momentous news, indeed.

Uh, folks. I hate to dampen your enthusiasm, but I'm gonna have to 'red peel' you on this and take you down a little environmental rabbit hole.

Bananas aren't supposed to be growing at 52 degrees latitude. They grow in tropical regions. This ain't normal, folks.

Now I'm not gonna go too far down the rabbit hole today on why you got a banana growin' where it ain't supposed to be growin'. I could bring up global warming, geoengineering, dark dealings of the deep state...

Oh poo, Truther Red Peel Dearie! You're just raining on our parade. We're all excited for this grandpa who's growing a new banana friend, and who may single-handedly bring a new crop to this barren area of the world!

Back in my day, we were happy for our friends when they had good news to share.

I'm happy for the grandpa and the baby banana, GramNana!

Oooo-kaaay... Another post that's gotten way out of hand!

Probably best just to end it right here.

Tassium, over and out.

P.O. Tassium , I hate to peel your banana news but Grandpa’s banana looks brown. Are you not green and then ripen to yellow? Either way your banana news is most a breakthrough in communications between man & banana. 😊 🍌

Hi @redheadpei ~ I think this guy's banana has a couple of months before it's ripe. I know a couple of others who know more about banana propagation who could maybe slip in and give us some info ~ @evlachsblog & @mhm-philippines -- whatcha got for us? 🍌

That brown thing is what we call the "banana heart". It's sort of like a flower that grows at the end of the banana fruit cluster.

Thanks, @evlachsblog. We figured you'd know! 🍌🍌🍌

I always knew bananas had heart!

Just as bananas are appearing to grow in different parts of the world, the are making a large appearance on Steemit. You should check out @stellabelle's post BANANA PROGRAM: New Steem Project Designed For Bored Humans.

Thanks, @emergehealthier! We probably saw it first on your re-steem of the post. It's a lot of fun and we just did our first posting for the #bananaprogram. :-)

Your welcome @bananamemos, I thought you might like the project.

@bananamemos Thank you for not using bidbots on this post and also using the #nobidbot tag!
