I like the 300 Bananas. Just because of the Spartan King and just so happens my husband is Greek. Haha! I also like that gif with King Leonidas swallowing the whole Banana and yelled out "BA NA NA" haha! Made me Lol!

Yes, it's a pretty funny gif, isn't it? 🍌

So few recognize how the banana inspired King Leonidas as he made his last stand at the Battle of Thermopylae. As he eats the banana, it dawns on him how bananas willing give their lives for the benefit of humankind. He then strategically, orders the majority of his army to retreat to safety. He and a few valiant soldiers engaged the enemy, knowing they won't survive. This helped unite ancient Greece against their common enemy the Persians.

Without doing the actual research ourselves (our publisher, P.O.Tassium, is on vacation), we're just gonna trust you on this, @emergehealthier. We don't know a whole lot about ancient (people) wars.

But you're definitely right on target with the symbiotic relationship shared by bananas and humans. You've inspired us to do a couple of '6 degrees of banana-ation' right here:

Spartan War ~ hungry soldiers ~ snack time ~ BANANAS

emergehealthier ~ healthy lifestyle blog ~ bananas are super healthy ~ BANANAS

History is my thing. My son and I like to watch movies about historical events and compare them to the actual events.
