Travel Digest

#1 Our soul-soothing trip to Upper Austria + tiny things matter the most :)

@matkodurko's annual holiday with his parents this year is to Upper Austria. It's the perfect location to catch up with them as he doesn't get to see them that often. They stayed at a little village in the countryside where there's no modern technology to disturb them, just nature, and silence. There's a beautiful lake called Seeklausalm where he went for a dip, it looked so relaxing. Then afterwards he went for a walk around the lake with his folks. According to @matkodurko "tiny things are sometimes the most valuable ones", and for him this was a bike ride with his mum. These simple moments are the most precious in life.

#2 What to do in Hanoi: TRAVELTIPS for the capital of Vietnam

@steef-05's travels takes us to Hanoi in Vietnam. He's staying at the Old Quarters, the coolest part of town lined with many shops where tourist can buy souvenirs, yummy local food and of course visit the many bars and sample the locally brewed beer. The other Hanoi travel tips @steef-05 have for us to to visit the Hanoi Hilton (which isn't the hotel chain in case you're wondering), the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum to see the embalmed body of the former leader, and the Temple of Literature which dates back to 1070.

#3 Travel adventures - BERLIN - Day 3

Let's swing back to Berlin in Germany and see where @delishtreats is taking us. Her first stop is the Berlin Wall Memorial a place that witnessed the separation of many families for over three decades during the Cold War. Wandering around there and reading the exhibits makes her appreciate how blessed she is (and we are) to live in a safe environment. Next stop is the Museum Island which has five museums and lots of stunning architecture including The Berliner Dom which is the most beautiful building in Berlin. Being a Catholic, she went in to attend the service but didn't realise it was a Protestant church! Her final stop is the Tiergarten Park, known as the green heart of Berlin.
